Russet frowned at Julius' words. "What are you talking about?" he asked, tensing a bit more at the moving part.

"Wait..." Russet said, catching on to what Julius was talking about. "So you're talking about me... going to live with a pack of wolves... and you're okay with Delilah coming? With wolves? You're okay with her living with a pack of wolves?" he asked, not really sure if Julius was actually setting the idea into action or just bluffing.

Russet tensed. But... you complain about what I did, but you're okay with her being with a pack of wolves who aren't the most loving creatures on Earth?, he thought to himself. "Shouldn't I have a say in where I go?" he snapped, through gritted teeth, which really sounded more like a muffle than a threatening snap.

Russet tensed once again, his hackles rose and he prepared for a fight if needed.

"Well... it seems a lot like that, Julius. And I doubt a wolf pack will be accepting to a dog." he spat in Julius' face.

Russet's mouth curled into a snarl. He trotted over to Julius, hitting his left side on the door as he turned. "Gah! Dammit!" he snarled at the door. He then slid his way in front of Julius, some snow slushing outwards from his paws as he stopped. "Look," he began, his eyes locked. "You have nothing to do with my business as a wolf and the desicions I make as one. All you have to do with me is Delilah, and until the day both of us drop dead, stone cold... it's going to stay that way." He turned around then, limping his way back to Delilah.

"Oh this? Just the d**m door. And it doesn't matter anyways. Don't worry about it." He sat down in the beam of sunlight that spread through the room like fire. He began licking his shoulder, wincing at the taste of blood. Remember, his brother Hunter had once reminded him, never taste another wolf's blood. The bloodlust will take control of you and you will not be able to stop at the sight of a bloodspill.

Russet looked at her, his eyes filled with worry. He gave a curt nod, and soon a closed grin as the sun warmed him from behind.
