Jack looked at Skye and stroked her fur. "You're a good dog, Skye..." he said, smiling. Then sighed and kept on looking at his necklace. "Skye...Indians gave me this one..." he said, showing the necklace to Skye. " Now I am not sure if I deserved this one..." he said and sighed. He looked at Opal, and sighed again.

Opal looked blankly at Noah. "Uh... Yeah...." This was hardly the time to clean. "They do...."
Giving Noah a strange look, she looked over to the window to see very dim dawn light coming through. She guessed it was about Five in the morning; Considering not many clocks had survived, except her upstairs alarm clock which was solar powered, which she had brought when she was obsessed with 'saving the planet'.

Yeah. woohoo. Save the planet. From Global warming, haha, no, not creatures that plan to eat everyone, global warming.

Then again... Who would have guessed that these creatures would take over.

Skye watched Jack as he spoke. Her gaze the shifted to the necklace and she barked. She then looked back at Jack and nuzzeled him.

Noah smiled. "Can you tell me where the supplies are? I need to see if there's any ammonia on hand. If we can put it into smal bottles or something, we might be able to get those creatures to leave us alone." Looking out the window, he added, "But first we need to get some supplies and weapons. Everyone!" he called out, heading downstairs. "In the living room!"

Jack stroked Skye's fur and looked at Noah angrily. He was already angry because that everything went in a so unnormal way, and now he was even more angry at Noah because of bossing everyone's around. Jack turned his back to Noah and kept on sitting on the ground, thinking on what to do. Finally he knew what he had to do. He looked at Skye. He stroked her fur and kissed her forehead. "You're a wonderful dog, but...I am leaving...Just don't tell anyone, okay? I hope I'll see you someday again, Skye. Bye. " he said and stood up. He ran downstairs and opened the doors. He ran outside, as far as he could from that house and that street. Few creatures tried to attack him, but he was too fast to be caught. He ran and ran, till the street was away from his sight. He ran onto the hill he noticed and sat down there, trying to catch his breath. " I can go alone...It's thousand times better to go go searching for truth alone than with a crowd of friends who always boss you around..." he said and layed down, tired.

Opal was heading downstairs, saying as she did this "The supplies are under the stairs..."

Suddenly Jack bolted past her, and ran out the doors, into the streets. She ran after him "Jack...!?" She said uncertainly. She stopped at the door. Why did he insist on going outside. Stupid idiot. Did he want to die?

Opal frowned, but slammed the door shut when she saw he wasn't coming back.
She turned to the others. "He didn't want to be around us, he didn't want to be safe."
Kicking something nearby and hurting her toe, she muttered a swear word.

She didn't care that Noah was 'being bossy' in some peoples opinions -- this wasn't the time for little emotional hissy fits, this was life or death, not high school.

She wasn't even certain it was this reason Jack had left, she had just seen that Jack didn't seem to listen to Noah.

They needed someone to 'lead' them right now -- would Jack rather do it?

Noah seemed to have ideas, and having ideas, things to do, weapons, things like that, made her feel safe, gave her hope.

Sitting down, she muttered "one less person... Great."

OOC: (Btw, a little info on the creatures... drawing them... its... not turning out '-.-)

Speed

Faster than any human, although not impossible to escape if you are a fast runner -- you won't be able to run from them for very long. The smaller they are, the faster they are, the bigger they are, the slower they are, strangely enough.

Strength

Strength is more than the usual strength of a human beings, but a very strong human could take on one of these monsters in a fight, if not for their claws, fangs, bite and speed.

Weapons

Claws, long, strong, five on each bony finger, five on each bony foot. Teeth -- Fangs (canines) and very sharp, rather long teeth. One set of teeth, which when knocked out, do not grow back.

It seems a strange poison comes out of the fangs when the monster is given enough time, if injected, the person affected will become very sick and unable to move as the disease progresses. Eventually, they die.

Disease progression stages

Stage 1:

Red, swollen area where bitten, obviously the bite area would bleed a lot. Soreness of the afflicted limb/place of bite, muscle cramps, sometimes mild nausea.

Stage 2:

Afflicted limb becomes very sore and stiff. Other muscles all around body become stiff and sore. Bite area swells very much, reddens, and bite usually gets infected.

Headaches are certain to happen, and nausea will become stronger in this stage.

Stage 3:

Whole body will be stiff and hard to move, paralysis will occur in afflicted limb. Headaches and nausea are certain, and will be major. Sometimes the person afflicted may start hallucinating.

Stage Four:

Whole body paralysis occurs; hallucinations are certain, great pain will go through the persons body, and they will not be able to understand a word you say. They will be, pretty much, insane.

Stage Five:

Death.

Features

Good eyesight, although some seem to be blind or seem to have bad eyesight. Eyes are nowhere to be seen -- how they achieve vision remains unknown. Excellent hearing, and skin is sensitive to vibrations in the ground. They seem to react to movement -- like a reptile, or snake. Stay still, and you may live. If they don't smell you, that is.

Appearance

Almost dinosaur/crocodile like, they have a Very bumpy version of reptile skin. A forked tongue aids them in their hunts. They have bat-like ears, and five 'fingers' with huge, hooked claws they seem strangely like a human hand.

Their back legs are much like a tigers, or a lions, possible a dinosaurs, with a dew claws, and four hooked claws on four 'toes'. They stand upright, although sometimes they may run on all fours. Standing upright they achieve maximum speed.

Sunlight/Moonlight

Almost never coming out in the sunlight, even when smelling a juicy human, they seem to gain strength in moonlight. It is not impossible for them to come out in sunlight, but it seems to hurt their 'eyes' if they even have any, and they seem to spend their time in the day in the sewers or in underground tunnels.

They come out as soon as every trace fo daylight is gone, and leave as soon as any trace of daylight arrive.

Other

They eat anything and everything that moves, except their own kind. They seem to travel alone, not often traveling in packs, and they do fight over food.

A little.. .O_O well, maybe a fair bit...

Noah saw Jack running out, but he guessed that with the sun coming out and the creatures dissipating, he would be alright for the time being. He headed for the closet Opal had indicated, fished around among the bottles, and found the one he was looking for. Uncrewing the cap, he took a cautious sniff. Whoo! Had the stuff been fermenting or something?! Re-capping the bottle, his grimace turned into a smile. Maybe the thngs would think twice about messing with them now. He began to scavenge around the house and found some small containers that pleased him. Filled with ammonia, they could be carried in a pocket and uncapped so the smell would hopefuly deter any unwanted company. Sitting down in the living room, he called out, "Hey, guys!"

Jack slowly stood up and looked around. He saw one of the creatures coming straight to him. He jumped up and was about to attack, when he suddenly remembered how he killed an angry wolf in indians village. Whole fight scene when through his mind, and he shook his head. As creature attacked him, he jumped into the air, on creature's back. He picked up a pocket knife from his pocket, and attacked creature's head with it, as fast as he could. He tried to give as much scars as he could to the creature. He kept on doing it as he saw how creature was almost falling down. He kept on laying at creature's back and attacking him, and then suddenly jumped off from the creature and stood on the ground, looking angrily at the creature. Jack wanted to eat and drink, cause he hadn't got a proper meal for almost whole day, and that made him to be almost a killer, crazed killer. No, he won't kill a human, he wasn't that crazy. He just wanted to kill all those creatures, if it's possible.

Jack started to run away as fast as he could. He looked back: creature, or most likely, a dinosaur hybrid was still running after him, with a blood rolling down his face. Jack gave a smart smile. At least he hurted that hybrid a bit. He kept on running, and then saw a tree. He started climbing up to it. He knew he won't be safe here forever, cause hybrid can easily make that tree fall, but he still sat down here, looking down, at the dinosaur. Jack noticed that tree was almost falling, so he jumped out of it, not caring if he will hurt himself. He fell down and quickly stood up. He started to run. He was very tired, but something in his mind told him to fight to death now, and he listened to it. Then he saw an abandoned building in front of him, and ran there. He locked the door quickly and ran upstairs. He looked through the window. Dinosaurs lost him and ran away. He layed on a ground, tired. He thought about Angelica,Rosey, even Skye...Opal...That he left them... But he became angry as he remembered Noah. "What does he think he can do? Boss me around? Or save the world? Perfect...Just perfect...I'll never go back to them till he leave or die. That's final." he thought and stood up. He wasn't going to sleep, he just wanted to rest for a few seconds. He ran out of the house and carefully looked around. He wiped the sweat away from his face.

He stood up and started to run, till he ran up to a park. Gate was locked, but Jack started to climb up, and soon he got into a park. He locked the gate few more times to make sure that those creatures won't get in there. He knew that they were strong and that this gate won't last long, comparing to their power, but he just tried to keep it safe at least for few minutes.

He started to walk around the park, looking for some shelter. Soon he noticed a big cave that was surrounded by trees. River was near the cave. Jack smiled. "I guess I can rest here..." he thought and walked into the cave. Thankfully, it was empty. He layed on a ground and closed his eyes. He started to sleep.

Rosey watches Jack go. She looks questionly around the room before at Skye.

Skye whined before getting up and walking over to Rosey, Sitting down and doing puppy eyes and whinning.

Rosey looked at Skye and spoke quietly. "No Skye... He has gone... He will be fine.. No" she said. She though to herself for a moment. He will be fine? What sort of thing is that? He is outside, On his own, With those things! Oh no.. I cant leave him on his own. He is one of the only other humans left and he is a friend. Also Skye likes him. "Okay girl, You need to be quiet though" she whispered, smiling as she stroked her head and spoke up. "Good girl Skye" she said before standing up. She saw that Noah had gone downstairs and called everyone down. She didnt go down, Only grabbed her speak and walked over to a table, Picking up a rock and scraping the pointy bit of it. She glanced out the window and could see sunlight. She smiled to herself before picking up her backpack. She pulled out a pot and placed it on the table before walking over to a table and pulling out a stake knife, Salt and Pepper. She then walked over to the table and put some salt and pepper into the pot. She pulled out some onions from her backpack and a cheese grater before grating some onions into the pot. She then pulled out one of the really smelly dog treats and grated that into the pot. She closed the pot and put it in her pocket and turned around, Throwing the remaining of the treat to Skye. She picked up her backpack and put it on her back and secretly put the knife in her bood.

Jack woke up. He couldn't sleep that moment. He stood up and walked out of the cave. He looked to the gate. No, creatures weren't standing there, but he felt that they're somewhere near. He carefully looked around one more time, and then got his clothes off and jumped into the river. He started to swim around, smiling, even though he knew that those dinosaurs could attack him every moment.

Soon he jumped out of the river and pulled his jeans on. He picked up his T-shirt and placed it into his bag, cause he was too wet, and stayed top-less. He then picked up his bag and walked out of the cave. He jumped over the gate again and started walking around carefully. Soon he saw one of the creatures, running straight into him. Thankfully, this one was small, and Jack prepared to fight. He did the same as before. He jumped onto dinosaur's back and started attacking it with his pocket knife. Soon a little dinosaur hybrid fell down in front of him, dead. Jack started to walk around again.

OOC: Just to keep things on some semblence of real-time here, why don't we do this rp on a turn-by-turn basis? Otherwise we've got one person going through almost the entire day while another person's answering a question.

Okay, the creatures do not come out in daytime.

They only come out at night.

We need a day-night system.

Anyone can change it from day to night, but it shouldn't go something like:

So-and-So:It was early morning, the birds were out. The creatures were not out.

So-and-So2: He shivered, it was a chilly night. The creatures would be out for sure.

Every 10 posts or so, we can change it from day to night.

(lol 'i know I bold a lot of words... its something I've picked up form wolfquest xD)

Also...

Strength

OOC - Right, Okay I have got it now. A kitchen knife is all I could think of lol. I wont use it.. It just makes my character look cool hehe. Anyway.. Name?.. Something scary.. Hmm... I havent got a clue. If I think of something I will tell you.
