And by the way, Idy, I hope you do make another adoption, because you can make some MEAN adoptables XD - I'm not sucking up

, I must think they're pretty darn amazing, or else I wouldn't be entering!
Name:Dandy
Number:6, the cute little one that nobody wants except ME >:D well...it WAS just me....
Gender:Male
Breed: 1/2 Australian Shepherd, 1/2 English Setter
Personality:From a pup age he's always been an "outdoorsy" rype pup and loved romping about in the wilderness at any possible oppurtunity. He'd often make secret "dens" and watch giggling as his parents searched hopelessly for him. He is a hardworking, clever, and loyal dog who feels lost without a goal to work towards. Underneath it all he is acutally quite sensitive, and is not good at romance - he gets easily flustered or embarassed.
History: Was the 2nd dog bought by Cora's owners when they figured that it would be good for surly, grumpy Rafe (Rafael) to have a companion and someone to mentor, hoping it would help him discover a more "caring, maternal side." Dadnywas eager to learn and eager to please, but his love of exploring meant he would sometimes wander off on his own, and get a telling-off from the farmer. At that time, Rafe was the only sheepdog on the farm, the sole survivor from his litter after his siblings were crushed by a falling haybale. The farm owners figured he was lonely, and so got him a pup to play with. It was a BIG mistake, since Dandy was quie scared of the big dog and Rafe didn't go a bundle on the "young whippersnapper". and wasnn't used to sharing his owners. Infact, as Dandy grew up, it became a sort of competition between them to outwit eachother and gain more approval than the other from the farmer.
As Dandy moved into his prime, he worked hard to become stronger and faster, more because he was determined to surpass Rafe than just doing it for himself. Then, one winter, they were forced to work as a team as an ewe and her two recently born lambs had got lost in a blizzard and it was so bad that the sheperd couldn't go with them. Rafe's experience told him that the ewe had probably gone to shleter in a cave and after an hour of searching they finally found it. But the ewe wouldn't budge from her sfae, warm spot at the back of the cave. Then Dandy had a brainwave, he went over to the lamba and nuzzled and pawed at them roughly. The two lambs got up and ran to the entrance of the cave, and bleated pitifully. The ewe immediatley got up and joined them, she would do anything for her lambs! The five animals slowly made hteir way back home, the blizzard had gotten even worse and it took all the dog's skills to make it back to the farm, but eventually, the family was safe and back in its pen. Rafe gave Dandy a half-smile. "Uh....Good work, kid." Dandy half-smiled back. "Yeah, you too." From then on, the two buried the hatchet and grew to be like brothers, when they found that they could achieve twice as much if they combined their skills.
And then Cora
http://baltosource.timduru.org/en/chars/Cora_Retro/5582.html joined the team. For one thing, Dandy was not quite sure of how to act in her presence, since he worked in an all-male team with Tinker and Rafe, so the times with his mother and his female siblings were all he had experienced of female company before. He even slightly disliked her because worrying about what she thought of him and how to act infront of her was distracting his mind from his work.
Well, to make a long story as short as it can be, in the springtime the sheep are taken for a trip up the mountainside, and a bold mountain eagle that has been circling around the hills for days suddenly decides to take a swoop at the flock's sickly lamb, which has wandered off by itself. Only the dogs are fast enough to get there in time, and it is Dandy who jumps at the eagle as it tries to ascend again, bites its leg and makes it drop the lamb, but also falls himself onto his back, leaving his belly exposed to the eagle's razor-sharp talons.
But before it can drop onto him, Cora leaps over Dandy's body, and turns to face the surprised eagle. Cora snarls so loudly and so fiercly that even the eagle is alarmed. Then the humans finally arrive, shouting and waving sticks, and the eagle sqwauks angrily and flies away, all its confidence suddenly gone.
Dandy is astonished. He's never seen, nor ever expected to see, such a display of agression from the always sweet and mild Cora. And all to protect him, aswell....Why would she do
that? Unless......
Basically, that astonishment and gratefulness blossoms into affection for Cora, which continues to grow, the more time he spends with her. But will he ever tell her how he feels? Does she even feel the same way? How do you talk to girls?....He'd never really talked to her about anything but work before >.<. Argh...so awkward.
Anyway, maaybe if one or the other plucks up the courage to tell the other their true feelings, they may become mates and have pups. ^^. But of course, if he ever confronts Cora about it, she'll only mumble that she was doing what anyone would have done. But she would probably blush afterwards.
Other: I'm thinking of what accesory to make him wear, if one at all. I was thinking a nice, farmy bandanna like Cora, but that would cover his lovely blue neck marking >.< Perhaps a nice collar will do. ^^
Why You Want the Pup: Well, I've been thinking for a while about the perfect "Dandy" for my Cora, but I already knew that he'd have a border collie-like build, hence why he matches perfectly with the doodle from previous months in my art gallery. ^^ And I love how his rich, earthy tones mix with Cora's warm sunny tones (They'd be so cah-uuuuute together

). He's just a little sweetie.

and would be perfect for my wonderful, strong handsome Dandy. And his parents are win.

As you can probably tell, I really want the pup.
