"Yeah." Blue smiled. They walked back to Naira's house to let Sammy sleep. Once they
dropped him off, Blue told Naira somthing. "Naira...It's wierd...ever sence I met you...I don't take those lonely
walks through town anymore...it's like....A place in my heart was healed." He said. "When I'm with you."
He finnished.

Naira blushed a little, but her heart was bursting with joy. her love for Blue was getting deeper and deeper.
I love him so much
"yea.." she smiled coyly,"I'm glad I met you, I..just...you..we.." Naira sighed.
what are you trying to say?
Naira huffed and nuzzled him, "well you know what I mean, right?" she laughed a little at her words.
"I guess what I'm trying to say," she began again, "is that I thought I would never fall in love with somebody and I never thought somebody would like me." Naira stopped walking for a moment and gazed at Blue.
her large brown eyes met his beautiful bright blue ones.
"But you changed all that," she said quietly, "and I just want to thank you for that,"
before she knew what she was doing, Naira leaned forward a little and closed her eyes.
"I love you so much Blue.." she whispered.

Blue nuzzled her back. Suddenly a drop of rain landed square on Blue's back. He shivered abit. Another
drop landed on his nose. A few more, then it started. The rain peacfully pounded around them. Blue shook his coat. He jumped to his back paws like a horse and jumped in the rain. It was cool and refreshing.
But as it got harder, Blue's curls tail was wieghted down and not so curly any more. His puffy fur was
soggy and dropped down. Blue figured he must look horrible, but kinda smiled at Naira and laughted.

The rain began softly then it began to fall harder and harder,
yikes, this could turn into a small flood
the rain was making Blue's coat heavier and heavier and he looked very soggy.
Naira laughed, he didn't really look awful, just funny.
she looked down and noticed she was getting wetter too. Her coat was not as long or as thick as Blues either. Naira knew they had to find a dry place soon.
Naira was enjoying the rain, it felt like she was coming clean.

Blue shook his large coat. He was a puff ball, now. "Um, Mind if mabey I could
stay under your house, doubt
for owner would let me in." Blue said. "Glad sammy's Inside...." Blue giggled. He
thought of How sammy would
look if he saw Blue all puffy as he was.
At least the rain feels good on my hot fluffy pelt Blue thought.

Naira ran up to the door and barked and scratched at the screen.
"Sophie! Sophie! let us in!" she yelped. No reply came.
"oh no! She must have gone out!" Naira dashed to the small shed that served as the garage. "Ugh! her car is gone!" She turned back to Blue, "the porch it is then." Blue and Naira squeezed underneath the porch. "At least its dry" Naira said the best she could.
It felt a little awkward to be so close together, but that didn't matter now.

Blue wanted the rain to be over quicky, but also to be longer. He loved Naira and wanted to
stay with her, but
It was cramped under the porch. Blue looed out at the rain.
He couldn't tell if a rainbow or the northern lights
were showing in the distance.

I wonder if Naira sees anything... Blue throught to himself. He didn't want to ask. The pounding of rain
made a loud noise as it was.

Gradually the rain became less intense, and Naira wished it would keep going so she could just stay snuggled next to Blue. A flash of color caught her eye as she looked out from the porch.
"Hey Blue," she said, "did you see that? It was a flash of color, I think its a rainbow." She smiled, "the sun might come out in a few minutes."

He smiled at the sight of it. His puffy fur had gone down some. Some...not alot. "It's beautiful..." He smiled.
He sat on the Wet snow mixed with wet grass lawn. The rainbow was sparkingling. He looked at Naira's eyes
glimmering in the light of the rainbow. "Your eyes are sparkiling..." Blue smiled.

At frist he thought it would be a moment when he would shy away....but he didn't...he just smiled.

Niara blushed. "My eyes sparkle when I'm really happy." she said quietly and smiled gently at Blue. "Its a symbol of hope and friendship isn't it?" Naira nodded towards the rainbow. "Reminds me of my sister, bright, happy, colorful..." Naira's voice trailed off, "too bad she isn't here to see this..." Naira murmured.

Blue remembered how happy he was to be leaving the ring one day, and seeing his siblings being crated off as
well. Some of them were infact in town, the thought of never seeing one....Blue shuttered. Without thinging
He asked "What Happened to her?" But tried to act like he didn't say anything.

"well," naira drew in a deep breath, "she was never a strong dog,the fighting was too much for her, way overpowering. She got killed.." Naira said grimly. She sighed and put her head on her paws. "I wish I could find the dog that killed her and get revenge on him, but that never works. It won't bring her back. Poor Morgandy.." Naira whispered.

Morgandy- Blue thought. Then his eyes widened. Was that the...No no....
I't could have been
...I..no... Blue thought. The dog had the same name as the one that....
Blue struck a horrible flashback.
*FlashBack*
"KILL HER NOW THUNDER!" A man yelled at Blue from the stands. A helpless bleeding wounded
dog limped in the
corner. Blue didn't move. He stoud there shivering. A man shot a gun at his paws. He dashed
forward but acted like he missed the dog. She huddled in a corner. "Don't worry, I'll help you."
He wispered. Then another gunshot hit Blue's back. He started bleeding horiblly, and he dropped
to the floor. "WHY YOU- I HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMTHING TO STITCH THAT UP WITH!!" Blue's owner
yelled from the back. A man came up from behind Blue.

He wrapped a muzzle around his snout. Blue couldn't fight back. He was carried off to his pin,
and he could hear very faintly 'Let Demon out, he'll finnish her off.' Right before he blacked out in his pin.

*Flashback ends*

"Naira...It was Demon...He almost killed me...He killed your dying sister...." Blue shutterd. "He's huge, and I was
in the championship the night that Someone found out about the fights... I was going in and out of passing out...his jaws where on my throught....then...someone Threw somthing over him and took him away...I was put
in a crate....then sold." Blue said.





(Finnish later, gotta get off, bad storm coming, )

Niara gasped.. "o-oh no!..no..it..she...I...oh blue!" naira burst into tears and nuzzled his neck.
"oh morgandy..my poor sister.." Naira sniffed, trying to be strong. She took a shaky breath. "was Demon the brown dog who chased us?" she asked.
