Cody was all about the place in werewolf territory after Shay left. He was summoned to a werewolf meting and all of the werewolves declared war on the vampires except for Cody. Cody was ready to fight though. Then he went back to his house and prepared himself for battle. Then he heard a knocking sound. Cody answered it by holding his favorite sword out against the vampires throat without knowing who it was. He then said "What are you doing here leech? I am going to kill you unless you answer swiftly." Cody said to the mysterious vampire threateningly with his red eyes glaring and growling at the mysterious vampire.

Cody then dropped his sword immediately with his eyes opening very widely. Cody then said "Please forgive me. I didn't know it was you. What are we going to do, Shay?"

"Yes, I am supposed to kill a lot of your kind too. Let's at first just follow our orders then met me here after two days has passed then we should have enough time to think about what we are going to do. Anyways, who cares about that I don't. Are you ok? I followed you to your house the other day and I seen you in your room crying. Did he hurt you?" Cody said while hugging and holding Shay. Cody held Shay for about 30 minutes. Then Cody kissed her a lot. Cody did follow her to her house and wanted to break in and kill her father.

"I know. I think I can't go that long without you either but we must take time and think through all the possibilities that we have before we decide what to do." Cody said through whimpers then kissed Shay. Cody then added "I love you. And don't worry about me. You have to many other things to worry about other than me. Trust me, I won't be killed by anyone." Cody then kissed her again and then added seriously "Be careful out there. Don't you dare hesitate to kill any werewolves that you met for any reason or they will kill you."

"I and my soul will miss you. I know that I have found my soul mate now. Again be careful my love. I will miss you." Cody said to Shay and kissed her even deeper and hugged her for a long time. "When I am done hugging you, we need to get out of here and lead our parties. They will be waiting for us to lead them if we don't leave now."

Cody hugged Shay back and while he was hugging her he said "I won't for a little while but we really need to go our separate ways and fight soon. I am sorry about this but this is how it must be. But while our time lasts, sit on the love seat with me and let me hold you. And tell me the truth. Do you think you found your soul mate?"

When Shay pushed Cody down he wrapped his arms around her and laid his head on the arm of the chair and closed his eyes while she was wrapping her arms around his neck and laying her cheek on his chest and closing her eyes. Then he fell asleep. He sounded so peaceful for a while then he was tossing and turning having a horrible dream about Shay.

Cody woke up and drew his sword very quickly not knowing that he was out of his dream and growling with his eyes wide with fear.
