Like I said, my eyes shifted to my wolf eyes and my teeth elongated and I have a physical and mental pull to the inside of your house. Could this possibly be me sensing my soul mate and my body is responding? I am really scared."

Alaska's heart was thumping against her chest as she glanced at Troy, her eyes soon darting down.'I gotta do this..something small but its a start right?' Her finger sowly inched its way towards his, it toutched hsi and she felt as if she was going to faint but controled herself.'What is wrong with me?!' She cursed at herself, heart thumping more rapidly now.She looked at their fingers, hers was just slightly toutching his, nothig bad.She couldn't take this, the feeling of her heart wanting to rip out of her chest.She jumped up and smiled fakley, but she was so use to doing it it was easy "I'm going for a run, see ya' when I get back!" She smiled sweetly and raced down stairs, hoping her departure wasn't to soon.She raced far into the woods that were just outside of the house.SHe could feel her feet becoming paws, her bones forming into strong structures, forcing her to the ground as they shifted.Soon enough she was zooming threw the forest.

Her white coat seemed like a blur to the rabbits that watched her, she soon began thinking again.her heart still beat against her chest "Gah!Why is this happening?" SHe snapped at herself aloud, she stopped immeaditly and rolled over onto her back, she knew she couldn't ever have Troy as her own, her boyfriend at the least.So why was she continuing with the fight, beating her heart up with every glance she stole.She sighed and remebered the first time she met Troy, the same feeling as now, but she didn't know what it was at the time since she was only ten.But now she knew, she had hidden it forever till now.She rolled up into a ball and began to whimper, a wolf's way of expressing emotional and physical pain.

"I'm glad to be here," Cassie admitted. "It's better than the streets at least," she joked with a small smile. Wow. How long was it since she had cracked a joke? She didn't stay in those thoughts for long because suddenly Alaska stood up and ran from the room with a small farewell. Cassie watched her leave with a curious expression than glanced at Troy. "Is she always like this?" she asked. "I mean, like, running off and all," she added so it didnn't seem like she was offending Alaska. Cassie actually liked Alaska very much. She was a little overly friendly, but Cassie needed a bright smiling face after what she had gone through.

Matt chuckled at Newt. "Well, I'll have to agree with you. She is pretty cute," Matt said with a sly raise of his eyebrows. He laughed to show that he was only joking.

Lucy roleld her eyes. "boys!" she muttered crossly, making Newt burst into a laugh.

"No.. No, she's not." Troy looked after her for several moments. What was wrong with ehr? Alaska seemed so strange lately. He wanted to help but he didn't know where to begin or waht to say. It was like a wall had grown between them just in the past few days. He glanced down. "Not at all..." He cleared his throat and looked up, smiling slightly. "Sorry. Things can get a bit weirda round ehre."

Alaska stood up "C'mon Alaska, your not this weak, no boy can do this to you." SHe looked down, her head about to blow with fustration."Why am I so mad?Maybe because everything is just happening so fast." Shepaced around a few trees, a few twenty feet between them.She looked around, for some reason she wanted him to care, for him to come here to her and tell her everythings going to be okay.BUt she knew he was with the new girl, showing her around.She remembered a song that had to do what she felt like, singing always calmed her down."This world doesn't matter to me, I'd give all I have just to breath, the same air as you do.Till the day that I die, I can't keep my eyes off of you.Hey whats that sound its my heart beat.Getting much louder my heart beat, stronger than ever I'm feeling so alive!I'm feeling so alive..." She sat down, her head up towards the clouds.All of the animals in the forest were looking at her it seemed, she looked up at a tree and smiled at a bird, it was neon green with black stripes.She laid back down and looked at her paws, her voice could've been heard throughout the woods, she was a great singer, that was her talent.

Matt's laugh subsided at the tone of Lucy's voice. "Luce, what's wrong?" he asked with concern.

Cassie nodded, still thinking about the way Alaska had looked at Troy. Could she...? "Well, a house full of teenages, yeah, I can imagine things getting slightly weird." She paused for a moment and pursed jer lips. "Maybe you should go talk to her and see whats wrong," she finally suggsested. "You two seem like really close friends. Maybe you could help."

Dess's weary eyes looked upon the baording house, and her heart lifted. MAybe she could live here for a bit, not have to scrounge for food and sleep in cardboard boxes. She hesitantly stepped onto trhe rickety porch, unsure how to go about this. She had never been to a boarding home before.....she didnt know what to do or if she would be welcome. She warily knocked, feeling awkward and out of place. She was aware of how badly she was scratched up and how tattreed and muddy her clothes were. She knew her hair must be wild, and nervously ran her fingers through it. She didnt want them thinking she was crazy, or something.
