"Wow, dad, you were in a war?? That's so cool!" Sam said curiosly and started wagging his tail. He found it cool that his father used to be a war dog, and he felt like he could brag about it to the whole world, but he decided not to. Instead he just sat there, and looked at Ryder with an admiring smile on his face.

Sam wagged his tail curiously, and then looked at his mother.
"So mom, what did you think when you first heard that dad used to be a wor dog?" he asked smiling.
Sabrina seemed a little confused, but then looked at Ryder, starting to smile and turned back towards her son.
"Well, of course I thought your father was very brave" she said smilin, turning her head towards Ryder.
"And he still is, he would do anything do defend us" she smiled, and quickly licked his cheek.

Sabrina smiled, and nuzzled Ryder lovingly. Then, she noticed it was getting dark.
"All right guys, it's time to go home" he said smiling, looking at John and Sam.

Ryan and Sam also curled up in their parents bed, beside their siblings. Ryan curled himself between John and Sam, yawned and quickly fell asleep.
"Aw, aren't they cute?" Sabrina asked Ryder smiling as she looked at her sleeping children.
