Samara growled in frustration, refusing to let Matt go, seeing as he was now threatning us. As he struggled to get out of her grasp, she held on tighter, making sure that the others held the gun. Without it, really, the boy wasn't much of a threat.
" You think of us as different when there's no one that's best in variety?" She muttered irritatingly. " If we were dangerous we'd have killed you by now."

Matt carried on struggling, even though he could feel the girl's grip tightening every time he did so. 'We aren't freaks like you are, no creature should be able to change their shape, it just makes you dangerous and hard to control, that is what Zephyr (sp?) said' he spat. 'Your kind isn't capable of love, you are wild animals, and you aren't more in touch with animals, you ARE animals, crazy wild beasts that need to be either tamed or shot, and seeings as you can't be tamed you must be shot'. He raised his leg and struck backwards, aiming for Sam's leg. If he could just get his gun back, then he could kill these creatures here and now. He took the time to listen to Sam's simple statements, and in reply curtly said 'because you know that if you do the rest of the humans, the NORMAL people, will wipe you out'. He lashed out another few kicks at Sam's leg.
(Hybrid I hope you don't mind that I put that Matt had spoken to Zephyr, and I want to pm you about something)

" Who is Zephyr?" She growled, frustrated at his constant motion. 'Hold still you little weasel!' She thought with slit eyes and gritted teeth.

'Yes I have seen the X-men, and they are freaks like you, I have never liked them' Matt said through gritted teeth. He didn't like all the interrogating. He cried out in pain as the girl's nails dug into his wrists, drawing a small amount of blood. 'You b*******, let me go or I will have Zephyr blow up the house, with you in it, and then spit on your remains' he yelled. He was trying desperately hard not to cry, but the pain of the girl's nails and the humiliation and fear was getting to him. He sniffed loudly, mentally hitting himself, but listened to the girls talk. 'Zephyr is not racist, he is...well he has a good reason to want to kill you guys, your dangerous' he blurted out, and bit his lip after saying it.

"Of course he'd tell you that." said Sally. "Look, if we were animals like Zephyr said, would we be smart enough to realize we could get in trouble for killing you? I don't think so." she said. "He never told you that he fired the first shot in his personal war on us, did he?" she asked. "And you know what? Unlike us, if you were a creature, he'd kill you as soon as look at you, in fact, he has killed children." she said. "If we were 'animals' we'd not be as smart as we are, we're just as smart as humans." she said. "The reason he hates us is he's afraid of the unknown." she said. "Sam, stop hurting him, don't let him go but don't hurt him ether, he's just a kid, of course Zephyr was able to brainwash him." she said. "Now kid, did you ever think Zephyr might be lieing? Anwser me that, what so called 'proof' does he have?"

The orphan traveler's eyes widened as she realized what she had caused, and forced herself to relax. She made sure her nails were of a normal size, and she looked away, clearing her throat unconciously.
" S-sorry. I didn't realize I-i'd done that." She admitingly murmered, ashamed of her lack of control.

'You are animals, your just smart, and that is what makes you dangerous, and of course you would know that you would get in trouble for killing me, the whole human race would be after your species' Matt said, his voice dropping to a low growl in his anger. He listened to Sally, and inside he squirmed at the fact that Zephyr had killed children, but didn't show it. 'He has proof, just look at my wrists, that is proof enough' he muttered angrily. He caught Sam's words, and for just a split second he doubted everything Zephyr had said, and he felt a glimmer of compassion for these creatures, but that disappeared with Sally's other comment. 'What do you mean he was able to brainwash me, he isn't some evil scientist, and I am no more of a kid than any of you, I am 14 you know' he yelled, his anger rising again.

"Look kid, he did brainwash you by making his side of things sound right." said Sally. "I've seen him line up kids even younger than you and search through them for our kind and then shoot any of our species he found right in the head, in front of the other kids that were human." she said. "Now how are we more dangerious than him considering we won't kill you?" she said. "To prove it." she said and took the gun. She emptied all the bullets into a trash shoot and laid it on the floor. "If our roles were reversed, you one of us and one of us was Zephyr, you'd be dead right now."

Samara bit her lip, listening intently. She thought for a moment, before speaking up. " I don't blame you..." She told him, her grip releasing slightly, though still strong enough to not let him let go. She turned her eyes to the others.
" Don't be so hard. Imagine if you'd be lied to your entire life. This is something he needs to see for himself." She fell silent, tail swishing back and forth, slightly stiff and hair raised.

Matt opened his mouth to make a curt reply to Sally, but stopped when he heard Sam speak. He shut his mouth slowly, wondering why she was sticking up for him, she was a creature and he had come to kill her. He felt her grip on him ease off slightly, and he could feel blood rush into his hands again, the relief was amazing. He was even more surprised by her second comment. 'I haven't been lied to, no one has lied to me, I decided you were dangerous after what Zephyr had told me' he said but wasn't yelling anymore. He was a bit frightened of what Sam meant by him seeing something for himself, what were they going to do, dress him up as a creature and put him in front of Zephyr, surely Zephyr would recognise him.

"My thoughts exactly." said Sally. "I've been watching things develope with him and I've got a friend from a news network who got me a DVD of some stuff you won't see in his anti-creature propoganda, you know what they say, know thy enemy as thy self, he's trying to kill us so I figured I need to know." she said. She got a laptop out of her bag and put the DVD in the slot. "This isn't pretty to look at, but its the truth." she said. She turned it on. It showed Zephyr ordering his forces to kill a villiage of creatures after they'd already surroundered then the slaughter that followed. Once the tape ended, Sally looked at the boy. "The news crews showed the fighting but they didn't show that Zephyr not only attacked first but slaughtered them after they surroundered."

Samara looked away from the video, nauseous in the pit of her stomach. She'd had seen plenty of times that other creatures had been discriminated. Never witnessed a murder, but the echoes of haunted screams ringed in her ears, making her grit her fanged teeth.
" If you still refuse to believe that, simply come with us and you'll know what we mean, as a real live witness." Despite feeling rather ill with the video, she turned to Zara. " Hold him. I need to go and eat something." She told the dragoness girl.

Zara had watched the video with no emotion. It was in her species' nature to kill things, they were aggressive at time but could also be very peaceful. Those creatures had never had a chance, it had been perfectly worked out, but all the same the killing was upsetting, and that could happen to her. She nodded at Sam and grabbed Matt's wrists, a lot tighter than Sam had. She wasn't going to go easy on a human boy that believed they should all be dead, and she needed answers from him. 'Why did you watch me run after I stole something, why didn't you tell anyone, and why are you after me now' she hissed in his ear, but quietly so that no one heard.
Matt watched the video and felt bile rise in his throat. 'Can I go to the bathroom' he choked, but knew the answer. He really needed to throw up, but forced himself to swallow and keep it down. When the video finished he felt Sam's now very gentle grip disappear to be replaced by one of the other girls. He heard her question, and wondered why she was asking at a time like this. 'I watched because I was curious, I had never seen a theif or a creature before, and I did tell someone, I told Zephyr. I had no idea you were here, I just heard that there were creatures in this house so I came to kill them' he growled in return.
