"Are you sure that you're the one who should be saying that?" Maura whispered softly in one of his ears. She pounced ontop of him, flipping him over so that he was pinned to the ground with no escape. "Or do I need to go rip your mother apart like I'm about to do to you?" She raked her back claws down his stomach, making many gashes that poured blood. "Well, do I?" Her smile was sadistic, and the fact that her voice was low made it more menacing.

Steele flinched as Mauras claws ripped into his fleshed she clawed his chest and he whinced " you couldnt because shes already dead" he tried to struggle out from maura but she waspinning him down heavily.He suddenly relised how large mauras teeth looked from this angle.He noticed a chinook,a chow and a husky stood on the edge of the clearing "Nikki,Kaltag,Star do something!" steele yelledin a voice that sounded surprisingly unlike his own.

((Wow, I never meant for Maura to be this violent. Oh well!  )) Maura grolwed at Steele. She turned to see the other three dogs rushing at her. "Don't come any closer."She snarled, baring her pointed teeth. "If you know what's good for him." They halted immediately when she raised her paw to swipe at Steele's throat.((Wait, who plays Nikki, Kaltag, and Star?))

Aniu wasn't really dead. She was just injured. She got up shakily and said, " Steele get out of my territory!" She started to show her pearly whites as her lip curled back. She big the leg that he had stepped on her face with leaving it almost broken, " Like I said before, get out." She snarled at him again.

"Taka!" Maura yelled after him. "Just howl if you need help!" Then she whisked around, glaring at the three new dogs in the clearing. They were slowly creeping up on her. "Don't." Steele saw his chance to outsmart taka as he came to an icy lake he stood in front of a slippy patch as taka lunged for him he stepped aside sending taka spinning onto the lake "who said wolves were better than dogs?" he laughed as he walked off
taka snarled and started to scramble back up the bank but slipped the ice cracked and he went through and under, unable to get out he struggled to breath when he managed to surface he let out a splutered howl remembering mauras words
meanwhile steele sauntered over to the clearing "nikki,Kaltag star come on were going back" he shouted before trotting back to nome not hearing Taka howl

Maura's ears perked when she heard Taka's distress signal. She dashed to where it was coming from and saw him trying to keep above water. "Taka!" She called. She cautiously stepped onto the ice, careful that she didn't step on a crack. "Grab on!" She called when she was just a few feet away. She turned around so that he could bite her tail. "Hurry, Taka!" She cried. "Be quick, and I'll go teach that Steele a lesson he'll never forget!" She snarled when she said his name.

"No your not Steele. If you think that dogs are smarter than wolves, that's where you're wrong." He snarled and his mother joined in circling the four huskies, " Just remember, when you leave, that you never make the mistake of coming back!" Balto's hackles spiked up and his lip curled even further back then before making Steele scared.
"Like Balto said, you'd better go back. Dog!" She laughed when she said it.
