Eh. They're just ok with me.

I think Kodi and Dusty could defently be a couple but with them both on the mail team Dusty might get mad at Kodi if he pushes them to hard one day. I would think Kodi would be better off if he found a girl thats not on the team and would devote all of her love to him and nothing else, but thats just the way I feel.

I personally think they would look cute together.

Well, as a matter of fact (especially according to the interview steet had with the director or WoC) Kodi and Dusty had nothing going on. There was more going on between Ralph and Dusty that the director wanted to show more of, but couldn't because it would either A) get off track from the movie or B) time issues.

People think that Kodi and Dusty would be a good couple just because Kodi has a nice build (for a dog) and Dusty just happened to be the "attractive female" in the movie, which I think she was only put there because there were more boys than girls. Just because Ralph is fat, doens't mean Dusty wouldn't like him, there's nothing wrong with having a "pleasantly plump boyfriend" as it were.

Kodi and Dusty didn't have anything going on and I'll tell you why: they showed NO sign whatsoever that they were interested in each other. No sidelong glances, no body language (which this movie would have failed to show anyway) I think of the psychology in movies like this: if Dusty were to have an interest in Kodi, they would have shown her doing more than just talking to him about their job, like a heaving sigh, or a dreamy glance at him. And the same thing would go for Kodi. They would have CERTAINLY touched and played like dogs would, but if you didn't notice, they didn't touch at all. All of the "dreamy looks" that people seen in the movie was just a figure of their imagination (which isn't a BAD thing, but it will cause some blindness, metaphorically)

Whereas Dusty and Ralph did touch/play. But first, in the beginning of the movie, where I BELIEVE Kirby says "Rookies! They're all the same," if you look at Dusty and Ralph, THAT'S the kind of sidelong glance I'm talking about. But the real proof was when they were all playing in the water after the race. Kirby splashed water onto Ralph, and Ralph became saddened (by the expression on his face) but Dusty came up and nuzzled him in a way that said "Hey! It's ok!" and she splashed him with the water on her own fur, in a flirty way. Now, if that would have been a selfish move on Dusty's part, then I would have to wonder why anyone would be mean to the fat guy. But it wasn't selfish, because she was flirting with him. If she wasn't, then Ralph would not have made the hopeful happy face after she splashed him.

But I believe your question was "Are Kodi and Dusty a good couple?" In my personal opinion, no. Not because Dusty had a thing for Ralph and vice versa, but simply because I personally think that Kodi was gay. Now, before everyone flips out on my own personal opinion, say for a moment, I didn't think he was gay. He's a nice guy, Dusty's a nice girl, but I don't think "good"couples would assume something about the other (im refering back to when Kodi has a conscience about saving Duke and Dusty says "Joining the other side?")

So yeah, theres my take on the situation.
