Balto went down and curled around the kits. "Hello Rico and Nica." he said in a calm voice. "My name is Balto, I'm your papa's friend." he was hoping Jenna would come again tonight.

"Well he was in town checking out the town and he ran into Steele and his pack." said Balto. "Steele is a VERY mean dog, he like to make fun of me and hurt me." he said. "Well he was hurting your dad and I tried to help, though I just got hurt as a result but your dad was grateful I'd tried so we became friends."

"REALLY?" Nica yowled. She laughed. "How is that poosible?" She asked, pronouncing it wrong because she was only a kit.
Jenna trotted outside on the beach. She could see the boat where Balto lived from where she stood. She looked back to make sure the alley that Slyvie got her gossip from wasn't in site. Nope. She stood up and dashed onto the deck of his boat. " Balto!" She called.
