"Cleo!? What are you doing??" Suri blurted without thinking. She pulled her snarling friend off the wolf and stood in front of Cleo, blocking her way, and maybe even subconciously protecting the wolf. "He's a lot stronger than you and with the two of them against you you don't stand a chance!" she whisper-hissed.

Emuku's ears pricked as he heard her. " Don't forget i'm behind you and we wolves have better hearing, but at least you have enough brains not to fight us." he said. " Not that I even like fighting." he mumbled. " Now Cleo is your name correct? And you what is your name? And don't worry I wont hurt you." he said his gaze softening.

Suri sneered as her fur bristled. "My hearing is just as good as yours...half-wolf or not." she murmured. "Er, it's Ssssss" she was about to say her name, but then thought better of it. Why should she give him what he wants when she could prove she was just a good as he was. "...sso not your buissiness." she finished,then realized she was outmatched. She pinned back her ears in an almost submissive way. "Um, if you dn't mind, we have to go."

Suri backed up and blushed. She was irritated with him that he had revealed her name, but also somewhat ashamed. Had she been accidentaly flirting with this other wolf? She squeezed her eyes shut tight and shook her head. No, she hopefully wasn't that shallow. Slash didn't even know how she felt about him. She snapped back to reality. "It really is none of your buisiness, um..." she looked at him, trying to coax his name out of him.

Suri's bristling fur bacame somewhat smoother. "We...we just got lost. We came late for a pack meeting so we just...left." She showed almost no emotion, but inside she was a wreck. She knew that if they decided that wasn't a good enough reson for being on their territory...she gulped. She did not want to fight these dogs.
