2012 again =D

The world will end sometime. we will NEVER know when it will end. it will just happen. we will never see it coming. it could end tomorrow, at 2:00 today, or in a million years. or longer!

we will never know.

the 2012 just came from a native calendar. it is the end of it. plus they didnt know much at all about when the world will end.

so yeah.

The 2012 scare is stupid because there's a logical explanation for it. The Mayans just ran out of paper for their calendar :lol:

This. I believe the world will end someday, or if nothing else, at least our race will. Due to my beliefs, I believe the Bible but unlike most, I feel its completely pointless to try to guess when, simple point. I mean the Bible says 'It'll come like a theaf in the night', thus without warning. Basically every religion on Earth says the same exact thing, we won't see it coming. Scientists say the same thing with other possibilities, we have no real way to predict it. So no matter how you think it'll end, we have no way to predict it so we shouldn't try.

Even though i dont believe in the bible, That is what i think. we will never know when it is comeing

not just religion says that, science says that as well. we will never know then the sun will explode. or other stuff.

I see. So you have some special insight into the unforeseen future of the planet which scientists, philosophers and religious leaders do not. Is that what you want us to believe? Your reasoning puts you right in the same league with the people who believe this 2012 world-end nonsense...just on the other end of the spectrum. Someone who is SO inexplicably convinced that the world can NEVER end that she refuses to acknowledge accepted scientific fact or even religious doctrine. And if you're going to present the religious viewpoint (as you have), every major world religion (including dozens which are now defunct or otherwise dead) has its world-end or apocalyptic prophesies and dogma. To say that God "wouldn't let it" demonstrates a complete ignorance for Judeo-Christian and even Islamic religious foundations. And aliens? Sure...some hypothetical advanced extraterrestrial culture is going to expend time and resources to try and prevent a cataclysmic collapse of our sun and its planets. Right.

And I am not even going to get into that whole fairies thing...

I just don't think the world will end. If it was everybody would be on holidy living it up. Also what's wrong with aliens and fairies? Stitch has saved our planet many times before. As for accusing me of being psycic, wait until I've figured that out for myself.

Do you really have nothing better to do than think about ways for the world to end and us all to die?

I don't think about ways for the world to end. It's just a scientific fact it will. As they say "everything must come to an end".

Personally, until this topic, I've never really thought of the world ending.
