"ive got jenna balto, don't worry. She's safe" Kalgorn said

We're taking Balto and Jenna back to Nome.

"Here," Balto said, "let me take her." He got shakily to his paws and padded over to Kalgorn. His eyes widened in alarm. "There's blood on her neck! Is she alright?"

"Balto... You're too weak," Star said worriedly. "Let me help you at least, or let Kalgorn take her." His tail drooped and he looked at Balto carefully. "Are you all right?" he repeated.

"oh balto don't worry, that's my blood. Not jennas and are you sure you can carry jenna?" Kalgorn asked seeing balto was still a little dazed.

"Of course I'm sure," he said, "Put her on my back. I'll be fine."
He looked at Star.
"It's good to see you again, Star. Thanks again for your help bringing the medicine back."

"Oh, no problem," Star said. He smiled. "That was years ago..." He shook his head. "Steele was sold to some city guy in California." He laughed. "That being, I now hold the golden collar. I was second fastest, anyway. Not that I care to wear the golden collar, it doesn't really matter much to me. It's the heart that counts, not how fast your feet move." He laughed.

Kalgorn nodded at balto then tipped jenna onto his back. As jenna slid off his back it exposed the long gash on his back which was bleedy profusly.

Balto, who had been picking up Jenna when Nexus came up to him, nearly dropped her in shock. His mouth hung open for a moment, and then rage took over.
"Who did it? Where are they?" He started toward Nexus, his eyes burning with anger. "What did you have to do with this?"

Kalgorn tried to turn his head far enough around to lick his wound but he was unable too. The stinging pain that jenna had somehow prevented kept hurting him.

Cale took a seat beside his alpha as he looked at all of the packs represented in front of him, counting at least a hundred wolves? Upon seeing the packs join together and nod in reply to Keso, his smile would disappear from his face, would there be no fun after all? Suddenly a lone, grey colored wolf would step forward boldly, and give the answer Cale had been hoping to hear, and howls filled the air against the Hailstorm pack, making Cale's smile return as he licked his muzzle getting the taste of blood back into his mouth. As his alpha gave the word to attack, Cale would pounce from his sitting position and would be on top of the grey wolf in one quick movement, and ripped away at his exposed stomach brutally as blood soaked the ground all around him, the sound of wolves falling and spilling their crimson into the ground. As the fighting finished, he would watch as the remaining few still alive were rounded up, and would chuckle some at the pitiful sight, it really seemed true that none could take down the pack, not even the great Balto could handle them. Getting into line behind his leader, he would happily march back to their home terra completely covered in the scarlet liquid which had, in some areas stained into his fur.
