Nika walked into the house, her leg limping a little from the previous fight with the dog her and Mishka ran into in the alley."Hey boys, we're back." Nika's tail wagged at the sight of Rollie and Mishka did the same but for Zero.

"Hiya. See you got Lucky back... What happened?" Zero asked when he noticed the slight limp in Nika's step.

Nika smiled her thanks and nodded "Oh we just ran into a rottie on the way." She muttered, not wanting to worry the two males to much."C'mon Lucky, your going to bed without dinner because you missed it and early because you stayed out late." Shenudged the black nd white pup up the stairs gently."Rollie, I'm going to bed with Unlucky, I'll see you in the morning okay?" Sh nuzzled him sweetly before kissing him goodnight and trotting up the stairs.

Zero couldn't help feeling sorry for the pup, not being able to eat before bed. Mishka could easily see on his face that he had a bit of a soft spot for the pup.

" Charlie? Is that you? Ugh, " Sasha got up from where she was lying down, " Thank you, Charlie, " she kissed him softly, " We have to go before Carface comes back." she grabbed his paw and ran down the hallway.

Outside, Ace was waiting with Zak, listening intently for any sound of disturbance.
" Zak, stay on your guard, those thugs might decide to hit Charlie's apartment while the others are asleep."

"Knowing Zero, he won't sleep until we're home free." Zak muttered, his finger on the trigger of his gun.

Zero took his gun back from Mishka. "Glad you're both safe..." He said.

Zero's expression made Mishka begin to think about puppies of her own, with him possibly. Her moment of thinking was stopped by the sound of his voice "Oh yeah thanks for letting me borrow that." She blushed a little, what a stupid thing to say.

Zero had noticed the look on her face before he spoke, but didn't mention it. "No problem, knowing what's going on out there I couldn't leave you undefended. Especially at night." He said, smiling.

Charlie blushed... "Where is he?" he said chasing Sasha down the hallway and out of the building.

"Don't look at me, you should've listened." Rollie said to the little twirp.

Nika crawled over to Lucky and rested her head on his back "I know things were different when she was around but...I can't be her Lucky, I noticed how much you love the sea so maybe tomorrow night we can sleep there instead of in this stuffy old room." She said calmly as she wrapped her tail around him "I hate it how you keep growing, I wish you would stay small." Nika sighed, her tail wrapping a little tighter around the pup.

Mishka smiled and rested her head on his chest sweetly "So what did you guys do while we were out?'' She asked, her head tilting.

"Not much, just talking." Zero said, tail wagging.

Mishka smiled "Makin sure you two didn't start any trouble." She said jokingly, tail wagging. She looked over at the clock and noticed what time it was "Oh my, its eleven already?" Mishka looked over to Zero and nuzzled him sweetly "Goodnight Zero, I'll see you tomorrow." She wagged her tail before jumping up the stairs.
