NEWS 04/22/07: Animation! For Cat's birthday, Greykitty, Danman and I made a little animation. Though this is not for the actual Balto 4 Project. It shows that we are getting work done. Also Cat is an animator on the project, so we felt posting it here would be appropriate.

Animation is located Here:

NEWS 04/20/07:We are sorry for the massive delays, school is hard so work has been slightly pushed back. We are activly still working on the project. Just at a slower pace. But as Summer rapidly approaches we have begun to speed up our work again and continue at a normal and flowing pace. Hopefully this project will be offically done before Summer's end.

For now we bring you a short Anna voice clip, simply to get the view on her personality a bit more and see what a real devil she can be:

This is not a film, this is a 5 min trailer at the most to be released at the end of the summer.

-.-' Minor setback.

You know, a balto 4 movie, even though it's fan made, can still sell for a lot of cash.

Well, can't wait to see the trailer then... but why make a trailer when you're not making a trailer for a film you're going to make? It doesn't make sense! My head is aching!!!

I cannot sell this 'fan-project' I do not own the rights to Balto. Therefore it would be absolutely illegal. We do not have the resources to make a feature film. It takes years, thousands of people and a lot of money to do something as big as a project as Balto. Hence why we will not exceed a 5 min short/fan-trailer. This is realistic, if I set my hopes too high it will never be done.

The pessimist resents the wind,
the optimist expects it to change,
the realist adjusts the sails.
- kind of thing? Oh well, I see your point.

No, I'm being bot optomistic and realistic. If you want to get a film done, you have to realize your limits and what you can and cannot do. Or simply your film will never be made.

I dream big, I'm seveenteen and the reality is I have a handful of people working on this project and were are only human and capable of so much. Normal animated films with thousands of people take years to make with a handful of people? I'm not going to even try and fathom.

I don't blame you. Have you heard of the movie, "The Thief and the Cobbler"/"Arabian Knight"? The movie was by animator, Richard Williams. His goal was to create an entire animated feature film by himself. He started in 1964, and after over 20 years, he only had 20 minutes of the film completed. But after his success with "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", he allowed Warner Brothers to send him manpower to complete the film.

Animated feature films are not for amatures. You need a working studio staffed with professionals for a movie. 5 minutes is plenty good at the amature caliber. Just make those 5 minutes high quality, and you can still turn some heads.
