((In my Math class we watched Peep when we ran out of things to learn XD probablly beacuse my teacher was a frightning little woman who couldn't think of any other way to keep us terrible kids occupied XD))

Nate had gone into the 'computer room' to Google what "sudden vomiting" could be symptoms of. A huge list of things came up: Flu, food poisining, motion sickness, stomach virus... Pregnancy? Nate paused then shook his head and rolled his eyes, Nate knew pregnancy had more symtoms than just vomiting. That was Beth's only problem. And Besides, he thought, that couldn't be it, they used protection.

Though Nate didn't know Beth had gone to the bathroom, his chocolate Lab, Dallas did. The big canine watched Bethany shuffle down the hall before he himself rose, and slipped off after her curiously.

Bethany fished through the drawers in the bathroom until she found a little wand. She went over to the bathroom, unwrapping the little want and checking to see if she was pregnant. It would take 5 minuets for the little wand to decide her fate. 5 minuets of anxiety. She watched the little stick, like a hawk would its prey, hungrily even. Fear and want clouded her emotions and thoughts. A fear of the future, a want for the right answer. She began pacing in the bathroom, setting the wand on the rim of the sink and glancing at it every few seconds. The 5 seconds were torturous.

They say animal know... They can sense the weather, they can deside emotions... Well some could, Nate's other dogs: Rocky & Smokey weren't too sharp, they spent their time crashing into the closed glass doors. But Dallas was the exception, even as a puppy, he was quiet, peaceful, nondesctructive, just an all out sweet dog. He paused and looked into the bathroom, nudging the door open with his broad snout. He stuck his head in and looked up at Beth, giving a small whimper after a moment of watching her pace the floor.

((Haha really? My Math class is so bad. The only reason Mr. Yasso let us watch finding Nemo was because I've been complaining about it since the start of second semester. Since it was towards the end and junk, I'd just groan and yell at him to let us watch Pixar movies. He finally did >:3 ))

Bethany looked over at Dallas and knelt down next to him, "Oh puppy." She said, burying her face in his strong neck,

((We didn't have to watch movies with Mrs. Clark, we would usually get into conversations with her about the weirdest stuff! Like the IRS kidnapping her baby, Brett: the ghost that haunted our classroom, her brothers... Who where apparantly both in rehab, Adventure Time... And dinosaurs! Bahahaha!!! It was great cause on the last day I made her cry lol (by fake crying and saying I was gonna miss her xD))

Dallas whimpered and tiled his head when he was hugged, wondering what was going on.

((Awww aww awwwwww. I wish Mr. Yasso was that cool. Dude, he sent me to the corner one day because I fell asleep in class. I COULD NOT SIT DOWN FOR AN HOUR. LOL))

Bethany stood, it'd been 5 minuets. She checked the stick, it was positive. She stood, silently, looking at the small plus sign in the corner. Disbelieving, she laughed once. What would Nate think? What would happen to her? Would he kick her out? She dropped the wand, suddenly very very fearful. The wand dropped on the tile with a band, and she jolted.

((I fell asleep all the time: it was Math and it was my first class I had in the morning! XD but mrs Clark usually just hit me with a ruler XD)

Dallas jumped slightly, angling his ears as he tilted his head and looked at the wand. Then he looked at Beth and whimpered, moving his paws anxiously, not understanding this.

((Lucky, I got sent to the corner all the time :c Me and my friend Noah. LoL ))

Bethany picked it up, then set it on the counter, still thinking. She looked at the dog, and sank to her knees again.
"Oh God...what do I do?" She said in a hushed voice. Tears welled in her pretty eyes, she wrapped her arms around the dog, what if Nate kicked her out? She could see herself, on the corner, looking down the street, unsure and afraid. What would become of her?

(Lol, I did have to do jumping jacks in science before... XD)

Dallas still couldn't fully grasp the situation, but Beth had tears, Dally wouldn't stand for that. He comfortingly nuzzled his snout into her should and made a little noise.

Bethany wiped her nose on her sleeve and remained there, hugging the dog. She looked off into the twilight distance. Finally she stood, looking at the door and opening it. She walked down the hall and went back to the kitchen, by then her tears were gone. She went back to the chicken. Bethany washed her hands with soapy water and then continued to massage the chicken.

((hint: The wand is on the counter in the bathroom, she forgot to throw it away.))

( so was mine, but it was a substitute that made me do jumping jacks XD)

Dallasstuck his head out into the hall just as Nate came out of his room. Dallas gave a small bark.

"Dally?" Nate smirked but the dog ducked back into the living room causing Nate to follow. "Dally?" He found the dog, looking up at the sink. When he followed his Gaze Nate's face went blank as he exaimind the results and dropped it back to the counter "Oh my- she's... B-beth... She's pregnant... I-I'm a-a dad?! G-gonna be a dad?!" He stammered, running his hands through his hair.

Bethany heard some noise down the hall, but didn't think much of it. She sprinkled breadcrumbs over the chicken and popped it in the oven. Bethany leaned against the counter in the kitchen, thinking about what she'd tell Nate. Finally she'd come to the conclusion that she wouldn't tell him.

By this time, Nate was sitting on the bath tub, listening to his mind. Was she gonna tell me? T-this is why she's so sick?... Amy I really ready for a kid...? Nate did a bit of soul searcher, before concluding that tests could be wrong and that beth just had a stomach bug... So with that, he left the bathroom and headed quietly down the the kitchen, rubbing his neck.

Beth nervously turned to Nate, then flashed a smile. She walked into the pantry and pulled out some salt and pepper. She then walked to the ice-box and grabbed a bag of carrots. She poured the carrots into a pan with some putter and began cooking them.
"Something wrong?" She asked, salting the veggies.

Nate opened his mouth to speak but quickly stopped, he wanted to ask her so bad about that test: but he swore he'd not be some nosy jerk. So instead he shrugged "Just frusterated babe... I tried to search for what might be bothering you: with your stomach and all. Turns out sudden stomach sickness is a symptom for nearly everything! Flu, motion sickness, pregnancy, food poisioning... And gosh there where a bunch more." He replied calmly.
