Ian looked up, letting Arthur go, who crumpled limply to the ground, gripping his throat tightly.
"Da** you said you'd stop that.." The brit muttered, practically shaking now. Ian gazed at Kat hand, before grabbing it and pulling the bone litterally back into place.
"Don't touch her!" ALfred snapped, before stepping back to show Ian he didn't want to fight.

Kat yelped in pain, tears thick in her eyes, but then felt a click and the pain edged away. She looked at her hand and made a fist then opened it. She looked at his huge hands cradling hers and she frowned.
“Y-You fixed it…” She said breathlessly. “Why?” She asked.


Riley rushed to Arthur’s side, crying.

Ian shrugged, looked back at his brother.
"You started it, little b**ch." He huffed, making Arthur cringe. Alfred pulled Kat away from Ian a little more.

A shrug wasn’t good enough for Kat, she looked at him. Her longing for his sweet touch so bad she could throw up. Kat was vaguely aware that Alfred was still there, tugging her away from Ian. She rested and hand on Alfred’s, pretty much saying ‘I’ll be fine’ and studied Ian closer. She wanted to flat out ask if he still loved her, but Alfred was here. She couldn’t hurt him like that. Kat stepped a little closer to Ian, breaking his conversation with Arthur.
“I don’t know what a shrug means. I punched you, and in return you fix my hand> I thought you…Hated me…” Kat breathed, the last time she saw him he’s screamed her away, for no reason.

Alfred's heart cracked, figuring out the relationship between Ian and Kat.
"Just be glad I fixed it and saved you a trip to the hospital." He huffed, looking over at his broken brother.

Hearing the venom in his voice, Kat wavered and took a step back. She looked at him, her face unreadable. A mixture of sad, confused, angry, undecided, and above all, hurt. What happened to the loving man who used to shower her with kisses and make her laugh for hours and hours? Where was the man who always listened to her conflicting emotions then told her everything would be fine? Obviously he wasn’t here. Kat frowned and took another step back, only to bump into Alfred. She turned, and then saw the hurt on his face. Kat wavered, she couldn’t loose him also.
“Alfred, there’s nothing between us anymore” She promised, taking his hand “I swear to you, that me and him haven’t been together for ages” She pressed, giving his hand a squeeze.

Ian smirked when she turned around, a look Alfred caught.
"Not to him." He huffed, and Ian sighed.
"You never stop loving your first love, do you Alfred? You should know..." Ian mused, glancing at Arthur.

Kat's breathing caguht, first love, Arthur, and Alfred. She shivered and looked at Alfred, he was clearly mad. Right now Kat didn't care who she had, she just wanted to curl up in someone's embrace and cry herself out.

Ian smirked, knowing he'd hit Alfred's soft spot.
"You see Kat? You love me, Arthur loves Riley, Alfred loves Arthur, and I love you." He purred, before getting his in the face by Alfred.
"SHUT. UP." He snarled, "I DONT love Iggy anymore! I love KAT!"

Kat felt her heart twist out of shape when Ian purred that he loved her. He still loved her...But then why had he told her that she needed to get out of her life 2 years ago? Why had he hurt her beyond belief, kicked her out without a place to stay, no money, no cell phone, no anything. Why would he do that to someone that he loved? Surely, no one was that cruel. Kat located Alfred as he punched Ian across the face. She made a small noise in the back of her throat, pain maybe.
"Don't...Stop fighting..." She managed, still standing, her arms tense at her sides. She looked up at both of them. Alfred was always awkward and clueless, obviously he'd only loved Arthur, and without much success. And then there was Ian, wild, unpredictable, sexy, Ian. He'd left her on the streets with absolutely nothing, and yet she still found herself crawling back to his sweet touch.

She brought her eyes to lock with Ian's and took a deep breath, but it didn't help her already fried nerves. At this point she just wanted facts, no feelings, no she loves/ he loves drama. She held his stare for a long moment, then took a breath once more. Kat's adopted mother always told her to hold her breath and count to ten whenever she wasn't sure of a situation. Never liking her adopted mother, Kat would never do this, but she did now. She took in a long breath and then counted, with each passing second her questions became less foggy. Emotions and facts dissolved away from each other, her head was almost clear. When she was done counting she exhaled sharply and looked at Alfred then back at Ian.
"Why, Ian? I just want to know why you left me the way you did. I had nothing, and I did nothing to deserve to be kicked out on the streets" She let out a laugh of exasperation and shook her head "It was so spontaneous, so...Well, in character for you. But I'd never imagine you to anyone could be that cruel. I had no money, so connections, no anything. So why'd you do it? Why would you do that to me?" Kat said, her voice unwavering and revealing absolutely no emotion.

Alfred stopped when she asked, looking at Ian beneath him, his lip was dripping with blood, green eyes striking with an unknown force, something so strong it could kill anyone in the room - Ian's madness.
"You were 16 then Katherine. I was..25? You didn't know how to be grown up, you were just a wee highschool student." Ian said, snapping his leg to the left, making Alfred tumble off of him so he could stand up.
"You wouldn't understand when someone looses their job, and can't pay for anything. I was broke Katherine, dead broke." He growled, making Arthur look up.
"Liar." His younger brother accused, making Ian stiffen; He'd forgotten he'd told Arthur the real story.
"You left her when you found out i was leaving for america." Arthur huffed, wiping some blood off of his lip.

"I was 17" she corrected stiffly. Kat glanced at Arthur when he called Ian a liar.
"Don't lie to me Ian, tell me the truth. That's all I want, I just want the truth" she said, her arms stiff and her stomach tense. Kat wanted to know the truth, Ian was an expert at keeping her in the dark.

Ian flashed a deathly glare at Arthur, who winced.
"I would never lie to you Katherine.." Ian purred, standing and stepping closer. Alfred made no attempt to block Ian from touching Kat, he just stood back, hanging his head in shame. Arthur frowned.
"No, Ian you have to tell her the truth god da**it!" Arthur snarled, making Ian sigh.
"Fine, when Arthur was leaving for America i spent four months trying to convince him not to go, and in order to stay longer with him i had to leave you." Ian grumbled.

Kay shook her head, she didn't understand, she wouldn't accept what he said "So everything I ever said to you... That whole year... Just didn't matter? Maybe if you would have explained it to me I wouldve understood... But you didn't, you made me think I had done something wrong. You left me wondering, going back through everything, trying to decide where I messed up" Kats voice caught.
"You know I wasn't a child, I grew up when I was 14, I understood just fine..." her Voice wavered as her eyes tracked down Alfred, who was hanging his head. She frowned sadly, then tore her eyes back to Ian's.
