Zero's tail wagged furiously, thumping the table every left swing.

Mishka heard Nika come in, her voice sounding worried "What did you say?" Mishka asked, worried herself now.Nika sighed heavily "Lucky isn't home yet and its pitch black outside, he could be hurt, lost, or worse!" Her friend was itching to go out and look for her pup so Mishka jumped off the table "Thanks Zero, but I have to go and help her." She nuzzled hsi chest before trotting outside with Nika.

Zero nodded understandingly. He thought of something real quick then went and caught up with her and took the gun off his collar and offered it to Mishka. "You dunno what's out there at night, take this."

Nika giggled "Oh trust me, I'll get him." She said as Mishka grabbed the gun "Thanks Zero, now you guys stay here, we'll find him." Mishka and Nika ran out into the street "He probally is at the beach." Nika barked to Mishka as they ran over to the beach, taking a short cut through a alley.A faint growling was heard from the corner but the girls shrugged it off, thinking they were imagining things again.

Nika's eyes squinted to see into the dark, but before she could tell what was lurking in the shadows a massive dog came flying out.Mishka, startled, dropped the gun in shock and it went hurtled down the alley."No!" Nika leaped on the massive dog and bit into his face hard, teeth covered with his blood.Mishka joined in as they rolled in fight, bringing it to the street. After fifteen minutes Mishka and Nika had chased the large dog away and retreived their gun.The two females had receive some nasty wounds from the fight but they both knew they wouldn't last long."Okay..beach." Nika said breathlessly as she limped to the beach. She saw the small pup watching the waves, Nika let a blissfull smile spread across her face.Nika lifted her head and let out a long and beautiful howl, it came close to measuring up to the moon and it's candle lit beam that reflected itself on the slowly rocking ocean.

"They went to go fetch Lucky, he went to the beach but didn't come back."

"Not at all Itch." Zero replied, smiling.

"Lucky will be when Nika and Mishka catch up with him." He replied, chuckling.

Nika walked over to her pup and let out a small and short growl "Its almost your bed time Lucky! What were you thinking?" She shook her head in anger "Auntie Mishka and I got in a fight with a dog on the way here, he could've hurt you too!I don't know what I would do if that happened." Nika hugged the pup tightly then bopped him on the head afterwards "Uhg, lets just go home." She laughed, Mishka laughed along with."If you think that your mom is being hard on you now, you should've seen what most parents would do." Mishka laughed.
