Robyn listened to Rory speak and felt pangs in her heart as he did. Her father had never been unresponsive to her. Well... A least he hadn't been since the first few months after her mother's death. Those first few months... They'd been horrible. With her father not saying much of anything other than some negative comments here and there

Copying again not to lose it. Though this was the version that wasn't finished xD

^ oh wow, Teal, that's actually really great!
~
"Hungry, you say?" mused the elkhound. He hadn't eaten for weeks himself. His appetite just hadn't been the same since the infection took hold. His sleeping patterns had been on the fritz as well. Just then, Strike realized something about himself that scared him to the marrow of his bones. He always scoffed at the infected who were further along in disease than himself. They always seemed so self-absorbed and rabid. He had truly believed himself to be exempt from this effect, but... What if he wasn't? What if his thirst and quest to know all the knowledge in the world had become his crazy spot? The thing he held onto so dearly to save his mind seemed to be now what might also be the loss of it. He frowned at this discovery.
This, however, was food for thought for another time. Right about now, it was necessary to find actual sustenance. "Mm, I think I saw a ruined marketplace just up ahead," he mentioned casually to Synn. "I would venture to assume there are canned goods still unexpired. And if they are outdated, I hardly think it matters these days." Though he wasn't hungry at the moment, Strike knew he had to eat something or he'd die sooner of malnutrition rather than an attack by a random raider. "I'm going to head there before I explore the city. You're free to come if you'd like."

Copying from an off-site RP again so I don't lose my writing mid-way.

Swishing and looping,
All through the air,
The dragons that I loved are gone now,
And that's something I just can't bear
Making a poem in honor of the season finale of Dragons: Riders of Berk on Cartoon Network
