Duke just smiled, wagging his tail.
"Gosh it's been awhile..." he mused aloud.

Warbler snapped back into reality, and realized she was still in love with Duke.
"Oh, yeah..It's been too long." She muttered sheepishly.

Duke sighed.
"I took way too long to come back..." he said, folding back his ears. "I'm sorry.."

Egg · **Posted:** Wed Aug 31, 2011 4:44 pm

Seeing Duke sad stopped Warbler.
"No! It's okay, i mean i missed you, but you had to have had some fun and such, right!?" She said with a smile.

"I shoulda stayed closer to home.. so I could visit more," Duke sighed.

Egg · **Posted:** Wed Aug 31, 2011 5:56 pm

"Yeah.." Warbler nodded slowly.

"You should travel with me one day.." Duke mused. "The sights...they're one of a kind ya know."

Warbler wagged her tail excitedly, thinking of how happy she'd be running around with Duke.
"But what about, the girl that you met?" She asked, a small frown tugging to come out.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Thu Sep 01, 2011 4:13 pm

Duke tilted his head.
"Lil Shi?" he said. "What about her? Wanna meet her?"

Egg · **Posted:** Thu Sep 01, 2011 4:15 pm

"Shi? Oh, um, sure." She replied, slowly.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Thu Sep 01, 2011 4:20 pm

"Come on," Duke motioned. "She's off by the stream. I told her to wait there til i got back." Duke turned to pad off, making sure Warbler was following.

Egg · **Posted:** Thu Sep 01, 2011 4:23 pm

Warbler nodded and trotted quickly to keep up with Duke's pace. She followed him all the way down to the stream, lost in her thoughs.

Duke padded into the clearing and looked around.
"Duke!" came the bark of a young female that bounded over. She was obviously young, younger then even Warbler. She was a collie mix and wore a red bandanna.

Egg · **Posted:** Thu Sep 01, 2011 4:27 pm

Warbler quietly sighed in relief.
"Oh, she's so cute.." Warbler said, cocking her head once to the left, then back the other way.

Duke nodded. "Heya Shiloh."
"Who's this?" Shiloh smiled at Warbler. "Hi!" she exclaimed, as friendly as ever. "I'm Shiloh."
