4 Leg-Toning Exercises

Squat. Begin standing with your feet hip-width apart and your toes pointing directly in front of you. The key is to keep your knees in line with your ankles and your weight on your heels as you bend at the knees, not at the waist, like you’re sitting in a chair. If you look down, you should be able to see and wiggle your toes throughout the execution of a squat. If you can’t see those toes, you need to sit back further during the implementation of the squat. If you have a full-length mirror handy, go ahead and check yourself out! If you’re having trouble, start standing against a wall with a burst resistant exercise ball behind your back.

The 4-minute workout!

Split Squat. Stand with your back to a chair and put the toes of one foot up on the chair. Then squat with the leg that’s on the ground, making sure to keep that knee behind your toe. (You may need to adjust your distance from the chair to get to a desired position).

Kickbacks. Lean into a wall and kick one leg up behind you, raising your heel towards the ceiling, focusing in on the glute of that leg. Really, who needs the Brazilian Butt Life workout when you can get all these booty lifting moves from The Beauty Bean!?

Calf Raises. Just rise up onto your tippy toes and lower back down to a flat foot position. Do this with your feet parallel and together, then with heels together and toes apart and then with feet hip width apart.

Trey - though he had been a bit out of it - saw them bring in the girl and strap her to the table. He supposed the same must have happened to him when he had arrived here a few days ago. It was only a few days, according to the sun, anyway... He had been gauging his time here based on the small window located almost on the ceiling of the building - strategically placed so that it was impossible to get out that way even if they did manage to escape.

When she began waking up, he could tell she was in a panic. He had nearly the same reaction when he had woken up only hours after getting here. The scientists hadn't bothered to clean off the blood on his head until well in the middle of his first night there, and though it was still uncomfortable being stuck here and not able to move, he had learned to deal with it just enough so that he didn't feel like screaming anymore. Though the girl didn't seem to know that just yet, so Trey decided to spare her learning it the hard way. "None of that's any use, you know," he pointed out. His voice was weary but as clear as he could muster.

All throughout his arms were wires and needles. Some spots had tiny holes where they had injected him with syringes already, and Trey had no doubt that the same fluids would be brought for the girl soon enough. There were bruises around some of the holes, indicating that his body had had a bad reaction to whatever they had put in it. He wrists were horribly chaffed from trying to get free the first two days of his being here, and his hair was tousled and messy. The edges of it still maintained the blood which had only been cursorily wiped off, and his eyes looked exhausted. They were still a clear blue, granted, but his expression gave it away.
