[Balto, Complete] So wrong, but it feels so right [Part 1]

The black and gray hybrid walked behind him around the bramble and then moved to his side when they had cleared the forest, burs still clinging to her pelt. She shook lightly, sending most of them flying away from her, but several other hitchhikers still clung to her and she eventually grew tired and just let them be. She shrugged at his statment and looked up into his eyes. "I guess so. Mira...that does ring a bell. I think that's the name Max called her. What, does she constantly spy on you? That has to be an annoyance."

She rolled her eyes, but grinned. Sibling rivalry wasn't anything anyone could really prevent, but it was still amusing to watch, sometimes. Her auds perked forward though, hearing a masucline voice and she glanced up. Her lower jaw dropped and she went almost completely rigid as she gazed at the muscular figure, the gray and tawny body of the greatest wolf-dog in Nome. It felt to her as if the blood had stopped flowing throughout her body, as if her all the fluid in her mouth had evaporated and every muscle suddenly fell limp and useless. She didn't even notice the pretty husky next to him, still being awestruck at her idol.

Finally, when Slyth said her name, some symbolance of knowledge and life flew back into. She shut her mouth and straightened up, feeling a fool for how she must have appeared to her hero. And then the self-conciousness kicked in, forcing her to realize just how dingy she must have looked after crawling through all that bramble and undergrowth. Clearing her throat and trying to hide a blush, she took a deep breath and spoke slowly, fearing her words would spill out all over themselves into a pile of goop if she didn't.

"Uh...H,hello." The flustered wolf-dog grinned nervously. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Jenna and Balto. You're my biggest fan - NO! I mean, I'm your biggest fan." She laughed nervously, screaming on the inside as her first meeting with Balto was turning out a disaster. Great, just great. Now he's going to think his son's hanging around with a nut job. Smooth move Blitz, way to go. "Sorry about that, I guess I'm just, really nervous." And this would be greatly evident. Had she decreased in height in the short interval between talking with Slyth and meeting Balto? No, she simply had lowered herself out of habit and instinct to the one who was greater than herself. Also as evidence of her anxiety, her tail had curled itself underneath her and her ears lay flat against her head.

Balto smiled at Blitz, still questioning her personality. As soon as he heard her begin to ramble on about himself, he chuckled cheerfully and gave Blitz a warm, friendly smile. "Hey, don't worry about it Blitz!" he responded, "I know what it's like to get embarrassed around someone... Just ask Jenna..." Jenna smiled and chuckled softly. "It's true, he'd get so nervous around me... So, Blitz, do you have a home around here?" Jenna asked, cocking her head slightly as she and Balto awaited her answer.

"Oh, um, yeah. I live with Gunner, the musher. His house is just a little ways outside of town, further in-land," she responded automatically as her eyes then flitted over to Slyth's enchanting mother. She smiled again, encouraged by the kindness in therir voices and the calmness of their stances. Relaxing a little, her ears perked up a bit and her tail curled up, almost curiously, wiggling back and forth.

Before he could listen for Boris's answer Max saw both of them run out and they seem to be heading towards the town. As Max saw them he just jumped down quickly, but stoped and hid by the side of the boat as he noticed both of his parents running into the two. Laughing abit to himself as he remembered how Blitz always wanted to meet his father, but he guessed it might of been a bad time because of the way they both ran out of the forest. He guessed now might of been a bad time to butt-in so he remained at the edge corner of the boat and just watched as they chatted. Through that time he forgot the real reason he came out here because began to think about what might happen if he never got that paint of his fur and he was alittle scared if he still had any on him just in case.

After getting over the paint fact he felt ready to just jump into the little chat himself for the fun of it and because of the fact its been a while since he's even talken with them. The last time was around the problem with they're little brother and it felt like so long ago. After getting the nerve to do it he quickly got himself up and walked over to the little family groupy. He nodded at his parents, Sylth, and Blitz before emited a very friendly "Hey all!" with a grin upon his face and his tail wagging happily. He firgured to himself if anything he could distract mom and dad so the other two could go back to whatever they were doing.

Wel...you could play one of the siblings maybe. Here's who we've got so far (including made up chars): Slyth, Saba, Blitz, Mira, Balto, Jenna, Max, I npced Boris a couple times, but I think we were all just leaving him an npc for now. Everything else is pretty much up for grabs. ^.^

Gah! Um, okay. Basically, Slyth has had feelings for Saba forever, but he didn't know how to tell her. Then their younger brother, Storm, got all sickified and was in the hospital and doing all this crazy stuff. That's where they meet Blitz, who was getting a check up from the doctor, just to make sure she was in healthy running condition. Blitz becomes friends with them all and kinda helps them out. But she starts liking Slyth too, and he kinda starts to like her back. Then, Storm gets involved in this crazy gang that Blitz used to hang around with. She knows they're no good, so she tries to "test" Storm to see if he's worthy, but really tries to make him appear unacceptable for his own safety. He gets pissed at her for doing this, a fight ensues, and Blitz ends up ripping out half of the leader's (Dart) throat. Storm gets even more angry and runs off and then Blitz freaks out 'cause she's practically killed a dog and runs off and hides. Storm takes Dart to the vet and he was hurt, but the vet said he would live (how, I don't know).

After that, Storm and Dart's player dropped out of the roleplay (for reasons I don't feel like bringing back up) and Slyth goes to console Blitz. Just a little way off in the same forest, Saba is crying and tries to commit suicide because she thinks Slyth loves Blitz. Then Slyth and Saba are finally pushed to reveal their true feelings by Blitz and Max (another brother of theirs who's been there all along ^.^) and they run off all happily. Blitz has mixed feelings. She sees Saba and Slyth later that night and encourages them, but Slyth later gets her alone and tells her he likes her too. She doesn't really know how to take this, but admits her own feelings.

That night, Saba hits her head and hurts herself. Mira (yet another sibling) talks to Slyth and they try to help Saba. The next day, Slyth finds Blitz and they go for a walk and try to talk and figure things out. They end up cuddling together in the woods for a little bit, kind of comforting each other, but someone sees them (Mira, but they don't know it yet) so they head back to town. Then, they run into Balto and Jenna, also back from a walk and Max, who is wearing a lovely new coat of paint ^.^

That's about where we are. Blitz is awestruck because Balto is her idol and she wants to be just like him (well, a great wolf-dog and an excellent sled-dog/runner like him anyway.)

That's as short as I could make it.
