"Ah... I dunno, Blondie..." He smiled impishly, "I might have an idea?" He grinned, moving his hands up to her stomach, and began unbuttoning the flannal shirt.

Bethany smiled mischievously, "I like that idea." She purred.

Fades into Black

A few hours later, it was nearly morning, and the sky shone purple with the light of a sun, which had yet to break over the horizon. Nate would have to go to work in a few hours. He had gotten a new job as a landscaper (and partime 'Ghost': Hitman), but for now he could just lay there with Beth. One arm was wrapped around the blond and held her closely, while the other was stretched out under Bethany's head, serving as a pillow, it had fallen asleep long ago, but Nate wasn't about to move it and disturb Beth's sleeping. So, he lay there, dozing in and out of sleep, while he listened to Beth's soft breathing.

Bethany smiled contently in her sleep, the sent of Nate tickling her nose. It wasn't a bad smell, she loved his smell. Her eyes slowly opened and she smiled softly. Bethany stretched slowly and looked up at Nate. "Hey." She muttered, kissing his collar bone sweetly.

Nate's bright amber eyes looked down at Bethany, when her soft lips sweetly touched his collar bone. A bright white smile came to his naturally tanned face. "Hello, beautiful..." He cooed softly, touching his forehead to hers

Bethany smiled at his words, they were all perfect, he always knew what to say. She looked around, they'd managed to make it to the bed, and the light outside their windows had vanished completely, leaving the world with specks of yellow and white stars. She stretched slowly, popping her toes and fingers and rolling her shoulders with a satisfying crackle. After tensing her muscle completely, she relaxed and found a wave of ease sweep throughout her.

"Ah.." She said, tilting her head back and breathing in the smell of the house. It was fresh, like lilac and laundry detergent. "What time is it?" She wondered, itching the back of her head with dim curiosity.

(Awww, lol it's fine. I've been super busy recently lol)

Nate just watched her at first, smiling softly. She was so beautiful, and always had been. He yawned, and stretched, then looked over at her. "It's almost eight, I gotta go to work in about thirty minutes." He said softly, gently running his hand through her soft blonde hair, smiling conently.

"Nooooooo," Bethany whined, cuddling closely to him. She laughed at her own foolishness and tightened her grip, "You're minnee!" She hummed, pulling his ear to her chest.

Nate chuckled and grinned mischeviously, listening to her familiar heartbeat. He slid his arm down under her side then looked at her and smirked, rolling over and ending up ontop of her, pinning her to the bed. "I know, I know, I'm yours and you are mine..." He grinned, kissing her neck. "...you need to tell my boss that." He grinned down at her.

Bethany pouted, "Well, maybe I will." She said, her face in a mock frown of a two-year-old.

Nate shook his head and chuckled, "I gotta go." He said kissing her forehead, then getting up and hurridly dressing.

((OoC: Sorry for the late replies..But I kinda want to experiment with Nick x Beth more. Like when they first got together, when he pretended to love her and when it all went downhill. I don't know. I just want to see their character's interact more.))

(ooc: sure it's okay, we could have Beth be home alone, and just have a flashback or something to the day she left Nate? Cause I would like to see them interact more to lol)

Once Nate had left, Bethany sat on the couch, watching the TV mindlessly. The show she was watching was dull, and didn't keep her attention very much. But she kept her eyes trained on it, never blinking, being hypnotized by the bright colors and loud noises. She wasn't paying any attention to the crude, and lamely written jokes on the show. Instead, she was letting her mind wonder, thinking about things she hadn't thought about in a long time. Thinking about the things that she'd sworn to never think about again. It was when her and Nate broke up as kids, and she went to Nick. She remembered it all. She'd dropped out of school to be with Nick, she'd sacrificed her relationship with her parents to be with him..

It was a stormy night when she walked over to Nick's house. She'd been walking all day, away from Nate. After seeing him with that wretched girl, she'd just kept walking. Away from that school, away from Nate, past her house, until she noticed the rain that was soaking her from head to toe. Only then did she ventured to Nick's house. Her long, golden hair clung to her face, neck, and back. She had long since stopped crying, but she still wore a look of defeat. Beth rang the doorbell and waited. She didn't know all that much about Nick's personal life. But he was the only person she had left to go to. He was the only person who she liked. He may have terrified her in the past, but Bethany had made herself think it was only her fault for his anger. She stood, shoulders hunched, rain clawing on her back.

At the doorbell's ring, a barking began opposite the door, followed by and aggitated yell, that was muffled due to being inside. The doorknob turned, and the door opened quickly. At first, Nick looked annoyed, but that thanged to surpsise then confusion, and in an instant turned to sympathy. A long legged American bulldog came to his side, watching Beth with a cocked head.

"Bethany?! Whadda you doin' here? You scared me to death." Nick sighed, scratching his bare chest, having on only a pair of camo shorts. He looked around "Get in here, you'll freeze to death." He said firmly, not waiting for an answer as he gently led her into the cozy little house, and drapped an old jacket, he got off the rack around her.
