Warbler laughed half-heartedly. "No..I understand..You dont wanna deal with us, 's fine. Just go." She said a tear rolling freely down her cheek.

"No! Warbs..that's not it.." Duke licked the tear that was streaming down her face. "I dont want to leave you.."

Warbler turned away, and sighed.
"Please. If you're gonna go, just go." She growled, feeling so abandoned. Warbler'd been abandoned so many times, that she learned saying goodbye wasnt happy or fun.

Duke's tail crept in between his legs.
"I'll...I'm sorry Wabrler..." he turned to leave. "I'm...i'm always here if you need me though.." he turn and slunk off.

After duke was gone, Warbler retreated to her spot beside Prince. She sniffled and soon cried herself to sleep.

Prince, who had been awake and had heard everything, put his paw around her and kept her close to him as she slept.

Warbler sniffled and whimpered in her sleep, waking up a couple hours later with no feeling of having slept at all.
"Prince..Im tired..." She grumbled, her face buried in his soft stomach fur.

"Go ahead and sleep kiddo," he said, holding her close and licking the top of her head.

Warbler nodded off into sleep again, only to wake up an hour later to Dalton pawing at her.
"Warbz..You've been sleepin' all day, and i know that's not healthy," He sighed sitting down.

ooc: Wanna skip to when they are liek.... older a bit? like no long pups or young teens? Like, older teens?

Prince was sitting outside the den quietly.

ooc: Sure sure o3o

ooc: Kkay i'll start Warbs is arrooound 2 1/2 now o3o

Warbler padded quietly along the riverbed. It had stormed the night before, flooding the river. The mud was cold, but it felt nice on the hot, humid summer day. Warbler thought quietly to herself, stopping every now and then to remember her pup years with Duke and Dalton. Her brother had gone off with his friends, visiting occasionally, leaving it to Prince and her like old times. She sighed, then thinking of Duke. It had been a year or so since she saw him, and every now and then a fresh image of him or a memory would pop up in her mind, but she'd push it away.

Duke trekked quietly in the woods, he hadn't been here in ages. He was so busy, being off on his own he hadn't had time to really revisit the place where he had done a lot of growing up.

Warbler sighed and allowled herself to think more of Duke. He'd always been her best friend since Mello disappeared, and they always hung out. She'd been so heartbroken when he left she didnt have time to think about why he left; only of herself. Warbler was so caught up in her thoughts, she didnt see a familiar face before bumping into a grey wolf.

"Oh sorry!" Duke said as he was bumped into. He perked as he realized who it was. "Warbler!" he exclaimed.

Warbler looked up at Duke, her face a picture of confusion. She blinked a couple times, before wagging her tail.
"Duke! You came back..." She exclaimed happily.
