Cody looked at the rings and studied them. He nodded his head in approval and said to himself "These are perfect." He walked down to the couch silently and knead down on the ground. He cleared his throat while he was holding out the box that has Shay's ring inside it.

Alex continued crying because he wants attention and he is hungry.
Cody smiled and said "I will be right back. I am going to get Alex a bottle and get Emery one too." He went into the kitchen and made two bottles. He came back and handed one to Shay while he sat down on the couch with her and Alex.

Alex grasped the bottle with both of his hands and drank.
Cody looked at Emery and said while smiling fatherly "Okay. I am coming, princess." He walked over to Emery's crib and picked her up. He held her while sitting down on the couch and started feeding her.
