Mira smirked, following her older borther, and his girfriend. She gasped silently though, givign a cringe "Saba's not gonna be happy...but she doesn't have to know...Though Slyth's gonna have to do something fo me in return." her voice wasi n a hoarse whisper, so no one could hear. She was terrified ot let her sister know. They went back so far, but so did she and Slyth, it was ocnfusing but she just dumbly stared, leaning before her paw makin a hollow tree trunk sound, gasping she tried to get away form tere.

Of course she didn't expect anything like that, though from the reaction he'd had as he moved his paw to her, then away, it registered in her mind how everything must have seemed and she blushed profusely. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to...I wasn't trying to insinuate that." She hoped that wasn't what he'd been expecting when he'd come there with her, though somehow she doubted he had.

When he spoke though, the worry melted off her face and the smile returned, her tail wagging. "I love you too, Slyth. I guess it was fate that I did. Even if it wasn't, I'm glad I did too." She returned his lick to the muzzle with one of her own and scooted close to him, leaning lightly on his side and sighing. Simply being there with him was bliss, despite the fact that their future was on unstable ground. But for the moment nothing but his presence mattered. It was so refreshing to let out her feelings for him, almost as if all this time she'd been a waterfall with a dam, but suddenly the dam had broken and allowed her precious freedom.

Slyth let out a breath of relief. He was glad that he and Blitz could share their feelings for each other like this, but he had been afraid that as this continued that it might lead to something he couldn't do with her. He wasn't likeing the idea of having to dissapoint her by walking away from all this. As long as it didn't grow to anything too serious, he supposed there wasn't really anything wrong with it.

No doubt Saba would still be upset if she saw them. But he'd come all the way out her to be sure she couldn't just walk in on them. Someone would have to know they were out here for her to find out. But he was sure no one had followed them. Or maybe he wasn't. He hadn't exactly been too concentrated on it while he and Blitz made their way out here. But why should someone think them wondering off suspicious? Most of the dogs he knew knew he and Blitz were friends by now. In any case, he was glad that she didn't want to go all the way. He was more than glad to spend time with her like this however.

She leaned against him and let out a sigh. The breath coming from her muzzle blowing through his fur. He turned his head and rested his chin on her head. All his troubles were forgotten for the moment. He and Blitz were enjoying each others company and that's really all that it took. He figured now that it wasn't such a bad thing he'd told her about his disires for her. She had returned the affection he had for her with her own equally strong attraction.

While he enjoyed the embrace he was in with Blitz he closed his eyes and breathed in her scent once more. Maybe they didn't need to worry about the problems life had given them. It'd all resolve itself eventually. Until then, they could just try and get through it all. "Sorry 'bout that"

Mira blinked, the angeri nside her raging. What was he doing?! Saba had just tried to commit suicide and here he was, with osmeone else!?!? He was crazy

You dope! Stop him! Scream at ihm! Threaten to tell Saba! You owe it to your sister... Her voice in her mind rang out loud and clear. And she ran away into a secluded part of the town, still close enough for him to hear her she screamed, laying on the gorund, calling out for ihm she was stifling growls "SLYTH!! HELLLLP!" her voice rang out in a helpless tone, asi f she'd just been attacked or soemthing.

Idiot won't know what's coming ot him! she smirked before returnign her helpless face, looking terrified as anything.

"You're fine." She beamed up at him, but then the smile vanished and she moved her head from his fur to gaze into the woods, a snarl forming on her lips and a vicious growl escaping her kissers. It had just barely been audible, but she'd definetly heard a footfall or too. Auds raised and flitted around, straining to catch the noise again, but it was gone now. Nares expanded, inhaling deeply to take in all the scents around, but managing to ignore the alluring aroma of Slyth himself. When she found the scent of the one who'd been spying on them, she thought a moment, but was only able to match it to one memory of when she, Max, that crazy goose and the other fae were near Balto's boat. It was her!

She wheeled around to face Slyth, anger apparent on her face, but also a certain desperation. "It was her, that female from earlier!" But of course he would have no idea what she was talking, or even why she was even perturbed, most likely. She sighed, calmed herself for a second, and then attempted to speak again, "Sorry. There was someone here, it was a dog I saw when I was with Max earlier on Balto's boat. She acted like she knew Max and the goose that attacked me, but I can't remember what Max said her name was!" She growled in frustration, turning around and pacing for a moment, before a thought struck her. "She referred to Balto as her father..."

"Uh. . . what color was her fur?" Slyth questioned. His head turned slightly as he turned his ears around to listen for something he'd missed. He had a few sisters and Blitz was going to have to be a little more specific if she wanted him to give her a name. He was trying to not act like he was a little upset. Something had disturbed them and he was already wanting that embrace back. But it'd have to wait. Just then, to Slyth's displeasure and surprise, he heard the sound of a fea calling his name for help.

A small, almost inaudible moan escaped him. He was half scared of what might have happened to cause her to scream for him. It might have been Saba, but her voice was somehow different. He turned around toward the sound and took a step toward it before looking around at Blitz. He had to go help Saba, but he wasn't glad about having to walk out on this. If Saba had been attacked, then maybe it'd be better to have her with him. They might be able to catch whoever hurt Saba. His ears layed back slightly as he tried to word his question. "Umm. . . I think that's for me. Do you"

He stopped here for a second. He thought he head something else but it turned out to be a false alarm. "You going to stay here? Or you want to tag along?" She probably was willing to lend him a paw, but since it appeared that they had just been spied upon, Blitz might want to stay behind and try and sniff out the spy.

Saba sighed, having been awakened by her owner's terrified gapss and whispers of why she had so many gashes. She sighed again, fidgeting as they put the disinfectdant on both wounds, making her yelp slightly, and cringe. The bandages being applied after ward made her feel silly, espeacially when they had accidentally covered her ear and had to make a hole for it ot pop thorugh.

Her nekc was in even worse pain, it was bad since it was basically infaected omr being put in the cold then dractically into warmth, she hadn't felt it tohught but it hurt when touched, she yelped and fidgeted, trying to break away the wohle time her "collar" or bandage was applied. She let her tohughts ease that pain, making her msile and her eyes lcose. She was happy, tihnking of her brother, his face, voice, and the night before.

I wonder what he is doing now...

Max sighed as he woke up not long after falling asleep, he got up shaking off his fur because of the wet spots still upon it and began walking back to the spot he had left Blitz and Slyth. Stopping and laughing to himself think about that "leaving Blitz and Slyth alone" yes it was a kidish thing to laugh at but it just made him. After walking upon to the area where he last saw them, he sighed again "Man, i missed them. I'm gonna have to find someone else to help me with this.. I wonder where they ran off to this early in the morning. Sniffing around the area and picking up the faint scents of both of them leading down to where the boat was, looking down towards that area he tilted his head thinking to himself "Where did they both go?.. Why did they go in the same direction". He remembered the feeling he got around them earlier and he begin to start questioning himself about it.

His foreleg started to move up but stopped, moving back. Thinking to himself once again, knowing he shouldnt get himself into anything on only thoughts of his own. Turning back his head he looked out, away form there, shaking his head and walking off "He must of just went back to the boat with her, why do i want to check it out so much. Its nothing i'm sure of it, and i shouldnt be wasting my time with it i should just find someone to help get this paint off me and fast.. Mom and dad could be back at anytime." He only walked out and looked around before sitting down and sighing, getting up and walking towards park where humans usually staied.

Upon getting there it didnt take long to be noticed by the kids and soon after brought to a vet to be cleaned off. About some time past, it was now around the time Blitz and Slyth were looking the "spy", they had him cleaned up and even checked up on. Exiting the vet and now sitting upon the sidewalk in the center of town, he looked around with his tongue hanging loose in a playful mood. He sighed as he knew no one was around beganing to wonder about the scents again. He began walking towards the boat and upon getting there he found Boris, questioning him fast "Did you see Slyth and someone else walk by anytime ago?"

(Not just yet ~.^ Oh and Kodi Girl, I can't remember what color fur Mira has, I don't think it was in your post, so if I guess wrong, just let me know and I'll go back and edit this post so that it is correct for the rp.)

"Umm..." Blitz closed her eyes, thinking back to the time near the boat when she'd seen the fae, caught her scent for the very first time and recognized her by her words to be one of Balto's offspring. The image of the fae shimmered into her mind and she opened her eyes to gaze at Slyth again. "Her fur was like yours, reddish." Her auds perked at the scream for help and in her mind she cursed. Could this day go any better? It was barely after breakfast and already the chaos had ensued.

She looked to Slyth as a moan of displeasure escaped his maw and tilted her head, watching the worry lines crease his face. Almost instantly, she knew he must be worried about his real mate, Saba, the one he had sworn a vow to and she felt ashamed. Not because she felt they were in the wrong for spending some time alone together, but because they were quite a good deal away from town, and if Saba had been attacked or injured, neither of them would be there to help her. She continued to watch his face as he asked her whether she wished to tag along or not and she nodded.

"Yeah, I'll come. We shouldn't have left without making sure she was okay still first. That wound on her neck still needs to be looked at by a vet. Besides, our visitor's already left by now. We'll have more chance of tracking her down in town. I'll remember the scent."

The irony of this was, of course, that Blitz had no idea about the small concussion the other fae had given herself the previous night, and if she had, she probably wouldn't have even allowed them to leave town, prefering that they stay close in case of an emergency. She stood back, waiting for the male to take the lead and sprint back to town with her in tow.

Slyth nodded his head, glad she would tag along. In truth, he felt like he couldn't spend enough time with her. It might just be his mind saying that because of what they'd just done, but he couldn't help it. He almost got a little choked up at what he'd do if Saba found them. But he couldn't do that right now. It sounded like Saba needed them and, knowing Blitz was right behind him, he climbed his way out of the trees. Waiting for her to pass him every now and then so that something he had to push aside to get through didn't go flying back and hit her in the face.

Once they were finally out, they both had a few leaves stuck in their fur. If the situation wasn't so immediate right now, then he'd have stopped to pull some of them out of Blitz's fur. However, the urgency, he just started running. Towards Nome that was a good ways out. Visable in the distance, but it would still take a couple minutes to reach it while running. As he ran, he cursed himself. Why did he have to go out so far? He also pondered about what Blitz had said. The scent she'd smelled that had been his sisters. If she had the same kind of fur as he. . . He knew it wasn't Saba because, well, Blitz would know her. And it couldn't be Aleu because she didn't live in or near Nome anymore. That left Mira. He frowned. "Hay Blitz" he said slowing some so that he and Blitz were side by side. "That scent you picked up. If it's who I think it is, then it's Mira. Not surprising that she's spying on me again."

Back in the small rural town of Nome, the gray-brown wolfdog known by all as Balto the savior of Nome was taking a stroll through the quiet, snow-covered streets along with his mate, the red and white husky named Jenna. The two smiled at one another as they continued their peaceful, serene walk through the town, making small-talk as they carried on their walk. Everyhting was calm and quiet around the couple. They took a quick turn out of Nome and began their trek across the snow toward the beach. Along the way, Balto saw his son Slyth and another dog off in the distance. "Hey Jen, look. It's Slyth..." Balto said, nudging Jenna slightly to grab her attention. "Yeah it is, let's go see how he's doing," Jenna stated and the two turned their path towards the other couple.

Balto and Jenna reached Slyth and Blitz in a matter of moments. The two parents smiled warmly at their son as they approached. "Slyth, it's great to see you son!" Jenna said cheerfully. "Same here, my boy..." Balto said, smiling at Slyth, then nodding to Blitz, "Say Slyth, who's your friend here?" He glanced at Blitz, noting her overall scruffy, tawny appearance and judged that she was probably a stray.

The appearance of his dad's brown pelt and his mothers reddish pelt caught Slyth by surprise. He could see their friendly smiles but he hadn't expected them to appear so suddenly. "Dad!" Slyth said shocked when he stepped into his path. He stopped abruptly and ended up slidding a bit. He stopped in time however. He was a bit nervous now that his parents were near him. Not that he wasn't glad to see them, he just felt curious why they hadn't heard Saba yell for him. It seemed as if they hadn't heard it at all.

Since he didn't want to be questioned about his current predicament with Saba, he decided to go with it. If his parents looked at them and assumed they were getting pretty 'friendly' then he supposed that'd be better than them seeing him and Saba that way. God knows what kind of trouble they'd be in then. "Umm. . well, this is my friend Blitz." He said, turning to face her. Then something clicked in his head. Blitz had been wanting to meet Balto. At least now she would get her chance. But he was still anxious to go and see what Saba needed. "Blitz, this is my mom, Jenna. And this is my dad. Im sure you've heard of him. Balto. . . the town hero. You know."
