Villina called the owner of the dog who had come in the previous night, the dog had recovered and it was able to go home. The man showed up ten minutes later, happy as can be. Both dog and master were reunited and Villina smiled. She went into the back to take care of the animals.

Villina smiled, she started to clean all of her tools. Customers came in with fifteen wild horses that needed checking before they could be adopted. She looked them over and gave them all shots. A little paint mare caught her eye.

Adam::
He talked to the people a bit more before he finally got it out into the town and on corners. He even faxed a copy to his house. Adam looked at the ground then back at the lady. I'll try my best to find him.

Villina smiled, she patted the little mare's side. She looked over the others and then went to talk to the horse shelter lady. She got the adoption papers for all of them and promised to look after them and find them all homes.

Villina smiled, she led them all into the stable and designed an add for each of them. She named her favorite little mare Twix. She considered adopting the mustang, but didn't decide anything. She put all their adds online and on the bulletin. She walked to the front desk and her and her staff talked.

Ma'am, I can assure you, I'll get your son back. He said and the woman thanked him, holding a tissue close to her nose. She sniffled some and wiped her eyes. Adam nodded a bit as the other officer led her away for questioning.

As the conversation turned to the mustangs, they all decided that they would each adopt one and they asked if they could keep the horses at Villina's. She agreed, she had plenty of room. Then they started to convince her to adopt one. She finally gave in and they asked her which one she wanted, she was head of staff, they insisted that she got first pick. Naturally, she chose Twix and they all chose their horses. All of them were adopted, she filed the adoption forms. They all went out and took care of their horses.

He clocked out and went home after a 12 hour shift. Adam drove down the rode, tapping his finger on the steering wheel. Every passing moment, a moment for a disaster to strike. Adam kept his eyes firm on the road.

Villina patted the mare's side. She honestly couldn't believe that she had let them talk her into it. Then again.... She had always been a sucker for adoption animals. She groom the little mare and hummed to herself.

He saw a bunch of people gathered at the old shack. Cheering for something. Adam still had his police uniform on. The tan one. He parked across the street and went to go check it out. He had a sawed off shot gun and a handgun ready. He walked up and people scrambled. Jumping fences and bolting. Adam looked inside the building. 2 pitbulls were tearing each other apart. 2 muscular men stood in Adam's way. "Look here boy. We don't like cops round here." They said stern. Adam pushed past them and got in the ring with the dogs. He pulled one pitbull off the other. One of the dogs looked like Joker. It almost brought tears to Adam's eyes. Who's the owner(s) of these dogs? He asked firm. 2 men spoke up. Money stuffed in their hats and cigarrettes lit. Adam jerked them over to the wall and arrested both men. The other guys almost attacked Adam till Adam had pulled out a gun and warned them. You shoot me, the whole unit comes out, lookin' for you. Best to just let me do my job. He said and brought the two men to his truck. Throwing them in the back. He drove them back to the police station. Going back and getting evidence photos of illegal dog fighting.

Villina walked back into the office. She got a fax telling her that the police had recovered two pit bulls that had been fighting for people's pleasure. They requested she pick them up and take care of them. She got in her truck and drove over to the station/

When he went back to get the pictures. He had found one pitbull was shot and the other one was being loaded back into his carrier. Adam pointed the gun straight for the man. What's the dog's name? He asked the man firm. The man replied, 'Beesting' like he was proud. Put your hands on your head and turn around. He looked at the dog. I'd like you put you in a cage for hours, days on end with no one to love you or give you anything to eat. You should be ashamed of yourself. Ain't your momma ever taught you better? He said and patted the man down. Gun ready.
