So, it all depends on your view of what you think is 'childish' or not.
For example: in my school, people would get bullied badly if they watch Bambi. They'd say it was babyish
But, the poinst you stated, are completely the opposite of that view.

(and I still think Bambi is childish, no matter what you, reviewers or Walt Disney says xD)

Pretty much the whole beginning of the film was just far too childish for most teenagers. Most
Think about Walt's greatest film of all time; The Lion King. That film doesn't feel at all childish. None of the young characters act like annoying babies, for a start. xD
