I would say no. But if a Balto 4 comes (Witch it will cause I'm part of the project) there could be a short flashback of what happend to Balto when he was a pup.

Absolutely. I was so dissapointed when they replaced Kevin Bacon with a new actor doing balto's voice. His yong voice was part of his charm. I want to see Balto as a pup and a teenager. I want to knowe why dogs and wolves don't get along which would have an effect on aniews story. I Want to knowe why Balto can't swim or at least why he drowns in almost every movie. Also I think that the story of Balto atracts a more machure audience than it originaly intended and this could be something that people who sadly think they are to old for Balto might apriciate. Just as long as they get a yong actor with an atractive voice to play Balto who actualy sounds like he could be Kevin Bacon.

I'd like to see that myself, and I disagree with steet. We don't know how violent or non-violent Balto's past might be. But one must ask whether the expression "It's impossible to make a good sequel" applies to prequels as well. In other words, would it find itself subject to the same slings and arrows endured by Baltos 2 and 3? Might people be disappointed because it failed to measure up to what they thought it would be (in other words, they had their own way they wanted it to go and got upset that it was different)? These are matters to consider. If it were to truly be successful, Balto 0 would have to effectively out-pace the mystery it would dispel in terms of sheer interest, which is rather hard to do. Almost any known, however exciting, will pale in comparison to an unknown for sheer intrigue.

As nice as a more detailed look into Balto's past would be, I agree that it may be one filled with violence, death [of course it would... ], and probably enough insults that might make one's blood boil. Besides, we don't know that much, but I also feel that if we did get an answer to those questions we all have about his mysterious past, it just wouldn't be that interesting anymore.

Plus, this is also why we have fanfiction authors. It's more fun that way instead of having something to call OFFICIAL.

Oh yes! But so long as it wasn't like the lion king 1 and a half. That was terrible.

Yes, I would like to see that movie. Though I'm not sure if Universal would make it, but anyways I voted yes, I want to see Balto's true past.

well, it definitely has potential, it's like the 3 lord of the rings movies, and then they went back to the Hobbit.

Considering you are part of an association that makes movies I have a sugestion. There is a series of books called the Belgariad and if they were made into movies I would be 200% sattisfied with my life. I refuse to die untill I have a book published and see those books as movies. I know that's a little drastic but I am extremely pationate about those books. http://www.amazon.com/Belgariad-Vol-Boo ... 0345456327 this is a link to the first book. The joy of it is it's a fantacy were wolves are good guys so I recommend it to any one who loves Balto!

Definitely as there are so many things that need to be explained in Balto's past (to many to list!)

It would probably be another low-budget project because there hasn't been a huge demand for Balto due to people simply not knowing/caring anymore.

But yes, I would be OVERJOYED at another Balto addition, even if it was one that went back in time to give some more information.

Keep the memories alive =).
