Well all the big hotels are expensive but I was thinking about one of the smaller NY hotels and having it at the statue itself would'nt work coz I doubt they woul let us hold an event in central park and if people wanted to show and maybe sell fan-art outside would'nt be a good idea, but NY is still a good idea coz of the statue and Alaska is way too far away!!

I think I might have a solution for that problem! *drum roll* What if we went to a hotel at first. There we can have the art work and everything else. Then, if the statue is close enough, we can walk over there (cause no one would bother a large group of people)! Would that work?

Great idea tibb, that would work and I doubt everyone would want to go see the statue all at once so people should'nt mind about us going there as a large group and if lots of people went to see the statue of balto it might get others interested in him aswell!!

Uh, I don't think so. First off, we don't know you, so technically you don't have custody of us. You would need proof that you were in charge of us. It doesn't matter about age; just authority.

As I have said many times before Dusty Fanatic, parents will be coming too, there are far too many young members to even think about asking them to come alone, my mum and brother will be coming with me (my brother will probably moan the whole time), but it's just unfair to ask them to come alone not to mention the fact that their parents most-likely would'nt let them come alone.

P.S. I have sent an e-mail to universal studios asking them if it is OK to use Balto and the other characters from the films for the event eg. if artists want to sell fan-art containing Balto or the others we will need permission from universal!

Drinking will not be allowed, alcohol that is.
Cookies, well, most people like cookies.
Statues means the statue of the real Balto in central park.
Hotels is where we would like to hold the event, in a hotel function room in NYC near central park.
I hope you understand a bit better now, we did'nt mean to confuse you!

This is definatly moving forward a lot faster than I thought it would! But that's good. I'll start looking for some hotels and stuff as soon as I can, too! Hopefully if I make it a lot more specific there won't be that many matches. lol.

Whitewolf(uk) came up with the idea to have all the people on this site that wants to to have a get-together type thing. We have Steet's permission and all.

... How did I know that a comment like that was coming? We never said that you couldn't go, we just said that you can't be the 'parental unit' since there will be plenty of other parents there to supervise us. No one ever posted the words "Dusty, you can't go." The answer is yes, you can go, but you can't be the supervisor for all of the younger members. Mostly because no one is really sure how old you are.
