Exactly that happened to me a time-ago.

You truly don't get what he's saying? So, there are some spelling errors. Big deal. I don't think you need to condescend on him about his English

When it is not written in intelligible, grammatically-correct English, I should think most people would have a problem clearly discerning the actual meaning and/or context. To wit:

A. How in the name of all that is rational does a dog "tease" a human because they are a fan of something? I would loooove to hear you explain to me how this is even remotely possible, Lucario.

B. What, exactly, is an "accotion"? I spent time searching for it on dictionary.com, and in my copy of Webster's, and darned if I couldn't find it. (Am I being sarcastic with that statement? Yeah. You know what? I'm not sorry. This isn't Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, and it's not a church. I'm not required to walk on the proverbial pins & needles to caress any tender sensitivities. You're on a public forum. Accept it.).

"Condescending"? No. I was being pointed and direct. Too many of us on here are tired of inexcusable bad grammar and spelling by native speakers. It is different with those who don't speak English as a first language, and I know that I am particularly tolerant of those who are in that situation (and I always try to be helpful to them). But to native English speakers? I have no tolerance. Nor do I regret that stance so much as one iota.

You went out of your own way to make the point to me, but then hid the text as a spoiler? How intelligent was that? If you cannot make your point without masking it behind hidden text, don't bother.

By the by, Serline Shepherd is not a he: http://www.animationsource.org/hub/en/profile/Serline_Shepherd/25758.html. A little effort always goes a long way. Both in taking the time to spell and craft good grammar, and to research about someone before you make statements. As I did earlier.

Move on, and stop derailing the subject.

oh yes , all of the time , but it won't matter because I'm leaving school and I'm never going back , and i will never grow out of balto , not ever.

...You mean you're dropping out of school? Even though I'm probably sounding like a hypocrite right about now, you should stay in school, or at least consider home schooling if that's an option for you.

And you do realize that the legal age to drop out of school in the U.S. is 16? Because you've stated that you're only 14 years of age.

I'm not trying to control you, as I don't know your reasons for leaving, but you did throw this out on a public forum...

School was supposed to be fun? Why wasn't I told?

Can't say I don't blame her.

But I doubt your mother is giving you a hard time on purpose, it's because being obsessive is very annoying.

For those who don't understand it, yes. But I can't see why they're annoying honestly, everyone has one of some description. My parents don't give me a hard time over my obsessions because they're open about their own obsessions ^-^

But to get on topic, when I was a big fan of Balto, some people did give my a hard time kind of but I just ignored it. People get bored eventually :3

My friend rolled his eyes at me when he saw me having the movie poster in my room. He said, "Why do you have a poster like in the room?" It was sorta out of place considering I have a Avengers and Star Wars poster's right beside it. I just shrugged and said, "Hey, it's a good movie." I don't have a flashy Balto shirt or binder, so nobody really notices.

Back when I was in my mid-teens my mom wold give me a hard time about it. But this is the same woman who gave me a hard time about watching cartoons when I was 11 (which to her is apparently too old). No one else knows about my love for Balto, so I haven't heard anything about it from anyone in years. I'm content with just keeping it to myself :)

Well, I can certainly see how you and your "friend" learned the lessons of the Balto movies ever so well.

What exactly is a "dingle dollar"? LOL

I was never given a hard time about Balto - why? Because I wasn't silly enough to tell everyone

And bullying someone who bullied you? XD Now that's what I call mature! Woooo! Because it really isn't mature to be civil about a problem, or just ignore it because what somebody else says doesn't matter. =D

AC, maybe it's a rare species found deep in the hallways of schools just waiting to take on the next person who likes something they do not. XD
