Ubora eyed up the flock of birds and the surrounding area. On one side there were lots of rocks that he could hide behind, but the little stones would alert the birds. On the other side was thick grass, easy to crouch below, but the slightest crunch would catch the birds attention. In the end, Ubora went for the grass. He crouched down low and slowly crept forward to the flock of birds. He made sure he was below the height of the long grass, but soon, he put his paw in a clump of very dry, almost dead grass and it made a horrible crunch. Ubora got up and sighed as all the birds lifted up into the air. "Oh well..." He muttered as he made his muddy way back to Moto.

Radhi waited in Pride Rock for a long time. She was nervous. Today she was going on her very first hunt! She was slightly disappointed because Amani couldn't take her, but Uhuru was taking her out instead.
"Are you ready?" Uhuru asked. She looked at Radhi. She was definitely bigger and she looked more beautiful now she was an adolescent. She saw Radhi nod nervously and then Uhuru turned around and walked towards the grasslands.
Radhi felt very self conscious. She was on her way to adulthood, having lost most of the roundness of a cub. Soon, she saw Tafari and she blushed. He was showing off proudly a big tuft on his head and chest. "Hi, Tafari." She said quietly, not sure whether she could hide the fact her heart was racing madly at the sight of him.

Tafari turned around and smiled,''Hey Radhi, you've grown I see.'' Tafari said and stood in front of Uhuru and Radhi. ''Is mother with Queen Amani?'' Tafari asked Uhuru.

Meanwhile Bahati was with Queen Amani in the cave of Pride Rock, Bahati looked at Queen Amani,''How are you doing Queen Amani?'' Bahati asked then got up and gave her best friend a head bump

Radhi blushed once again. Uhuru noticed Radhi's blush and stepped forward to mask her from embarrassment. "Yes, Tafari, I've seen them together."

Meanwhile, Amani was grateful for the company of Bahati. "I'm doing okay, thanks. It should be any day soon now!"

Kensai knew about the new cub to and wasn't at all very thrilled about it. He was already feeling lonely and sad because he wasn't really part of this family. He sat alone looking over pride rock and wouldn't really talk to anyone. He let out a big sigh.

(So sorry I haven been on, works been hetic)

During the night, Amani had walked down to the birthing cave. She spent several hours just staring a the ceiling of the cave, decorated with millions of stars, and Amani felt comfort as if the Great Kings of the Past were really with her. That kept her going, through a long night.
Bakari had felt Amani leave, but he knew why and so didn't question her. He felt so excited! He couldn't sleep very much as well, always thinking about Amani and the cub he was going to have. He wanted to go and join her, but he knew he couldn't. He needed to stay with the Pride.
Soon, dawn had broken and more members of the Pride were awake. Bakari walked slowly out of Pride Rock, hoping to see Amani emerging. Instead, he noticed Kensei. Then he felt really guilty. Kensei was his adoptive son! Bakari hadn't really spent much time with him, especially since he arrived not too long before Amani fell pregnant. He walked slowly over.
"Hey, Kensei. I'm really sorry if you feel left out and alone. I haven't been a good father to you, but I promise I will. You and me, we can do things together. Just ask and I'll be there. We have plenty of cub sitters to look after the cub when its born."
He paused, waiting for a reply, but none came. So Bakari continued.
"I can't believe how big you've got. I understand the way you look at Radhi and Tafari, but you're love will come. It may not be soon, but they'll arrive."
Bakari started to walk away.
"You can name the cub. You're sensible enough now that I know you wouldn't be rude. It's up to you."
Bakari saw Kensei smile, but he didn't reply. Just sat there, staring off into the distance.
Uhuru walked out of the cave. She saw King Bakari sitting there and went over to him. "Shall I go see where your lovely mate is?" she asked.
She saw Bakari nod and then she walked down into the birthing cave.
Amani was asleep on the floor with two cubs in her arms. She woke as Uhuru gently nudged her.
"You've had a long night, I understand. Can I let Bakari down to see you?"
Amani nodded and waited for Bakari to arrive. As soon as he entered the cave he rushed over to her and licked her cheek. "They're beautiful." he breathed quietly. "You stay here and rest. I'll tell the Pride the good news and then tomorrow, they can meet the cubs."
He ran back up to Pride Rock. "Queen Amani and myself are pleased to announce the arrival of two female cubs."
Then after the initial congratulations, Bakari went over to Kensei. "So, do you have a name for one of our little girls?"

Moto smiled at the news of the two new cubs to the king. "You must be very excited to finally not be the youngest," he whispered to Taji, giving him a small smile. New life meant a better future, and with all the happy faces around, life seemed perfect. Moto knew his lessons would be passed on to the next generation, and many to come. The two new cubs seemed like a beacon of hope for the pride, and he did his best to contain his excitement, which he hid well, but couldn't stop a smile from coming to his face.

Kori had just been traveling a bit and had now returned to Pride Rock. A lioness told her about the new cubs, and she was very excited. She then looked up at Uhuru. "Do you have any cubs?" she asked.

Taji looked up at Moto. "Yes! It means mother and father won't constantly smother me! And it means I can spend lots of time with younger cubs, like Radhi did to me." Then Taji paused. "Can I still learn to fight with you Moto? I promise I won't spend all the time with my new sisters."

Meanwhile, Uhuru looked at Kori. "Not at the moment, dear. My mate and I would love a cub!" She looked deeper into Kori's eyes, hoping she would say the thing she wanted to hear most.

Kensai smiled and walked over to his mom and looked at his new sisters. "I have the perfect name, what about Alika it means beautifuk"

"Alika? That sounds wonderful! Thank you Kensei! Would you like to say hello to your new sisters. Here is Alika, and here's your other sister Maliha." Amani smiled as she saw Kensei smile. "They're going to need you, a lot."

Amani picked Maliha and Alika gently up and walked slowly towards Pride Rock. She climbed delicately up to the entrance where she was greeted by Bakari. She gently put down Maliha and Bakari picked her up. "Come on, let's show everyone!" she said, before picking up Alika again.

Tafari smiled at the new members of the pride. ''Queen Amani they are adorable,'' Tafari said and nuzzled one of the cubs who squeaked in response. Tafari then nudged Kensai playfully guess you got to chose their names then huh'' He said grinning and watched the cubs sleep in Queen Amani's arms after Queen Amani had lied down Tafari looked at Radhi and walked over towards her and head butted her in a loving way Tafari then leaned down and watched the cubs smiling.

Bahati who nuzzled her friend Queen Amani looked at the cubs,''Queen Amani do you mind if I held one?'' Bahati asked politely.

Amani looked into the eyes of her friend, "Why, of course you can!" She said. Amani lifted Alika out of her paws and into Bahati's. She smiled, seeing the delight on Bahati's face. "She likes you!" She chuckled.
