Jafiya glared at Emperor Obbler, grimly.

'You,' said Jafiya (talking to Obbler).' May think this is the end, but it is only the begining. Believe me, old buddy, I will return. And take back what you have stolen from me and my friends. Believe me, I will return.'

Kudan looked at his master and lowered his eyes, then turned to move on. There was nothing anyone could do. He muttered to Rosie, Allin and his mate to follow him.

Jafiya was unmoveable for awhile, his eyes were still set on The Emperor of the Stones. But then, the banished lion turned to his mate and nodded.' We will leave now.'

Jet nodded. "Well be back... Don't worry..."

Rosie's ears pricked down. Lily just sighed.

Kellie and Safi sat beside obbler

Obbler looked at his mate and Kelly. 'Oh, Jafiya and Jet, your words stirred my heart, I'm sure.'

The Emperor looked back at the retreating Banished ones. 'I said ... run. Under your dignity to do so? Oh well, I must push you. Help them, Snarl,' smiled Obbler to his guard, and immediately the faithful lion obeyed; leaping forward with claws out and snarling at Jafiya. A number of Obbler's followers copied, and some slunk menacingly close to Kudan, cuffing at him with heavy paws.

Kelly sat down beside Romy and sighed to her good friend. "Romy.... Do you need help?" She hesitated looking to Alin and Rosie. Rosie looked to the two youngsters (Romy and Kelly) She frowned. "You guys didnt use to be like this. You used to be loveable kids... What happened?" She asked with a sigh.

Lily sighed. "This is so unfair.... Having the cubs taken off them is bad enough... The poor dears." Lily pulled a frown and glared to Snarl. "I dont understand why an argument over mates even broke out..... Well nevertheless we are forever with the great Jafiya and Jet."

Kelly looked to Lily. "Gosh does she ever shut up?" She said aloud, however she too, was thinking the same thing. Why did the war break out?

Safi smirked walking beside Obbler. "Our plan has worked perfectly dear." She said smiling lovingly into his eyes. She nuzzled him softly and licked his cheeck, smiling. "Your a good leader, obbler." She smiled at him then looked back to the rest of the other lions.

Jet just frowned standing tall against the lions. "I will flee. However i must say those cubs will never be loyal to your pride." She said firmly ignoring everything that was said.

Jafiya, feeling Snarl's claws digging into his back gave an ear-splitting roar of anger and clawed at his attackers face with one swipe.

Kudan knew it was the right time to leave, as Obbler and his followers were become dangerous. "We must run," he said to young Allin (who was eager to jump at Snarl) and Rosie and his mate.
Kudan stopped Allin and nudged him away. "It is madness to fight them, come!"

And with one large bound the sleek lion ran quickly but cooly off, Allin following close behind.

Jafiya turned his back on The Emperor of the Stones. A slow, strange smile of contentment seemed to creep across his face, Jafiya flicked his tail in Obbler's face. "I will see you again, Obbler, I will see you again for sure..." Jafiya said, then he pelted off, the others following.

Jets eyes lowered in annoyance. "We will."

Rosie nuzzled Alin. "Lets go dear"

The last rays of the African sun melted behind the earth as Jafiya and his followers left the lands of Emperor Obbler.

A weedy black creature watched from a large tree, then shrugging (as the whole thing did not at all interest him), he disappeared into the tree's leaves.

Jet sighed, ears pricked down.

Rosie lay down. "I cant believ this..."

Obbler had purred at his mate's praise, but frowned at Jafiya's last words to him. They troubled him deeply. The Emperor growled as he watched the Banished Ones run away. No, he would not worry about his foes now. They were going, never to return. He would make sure of that.

Romy had just returned from seeing to the intruders when Kelly had spoken to her.
'No, I'm alright,' said the dark-furred, young lioness. She had not answered Rosie's question.

Obbler watched Jafiya's group until they disappeared from sight...

Kelly nodded to her friend. "Okay." She playfully tagged her then lay down.

Safi smirked "don't worry dear.

Jafiya did not let the lions following him stop running until they were out of sight of Obbler's Land.

It was a relief when the scent of his enemy had disappeared when the new land's (which they were running on) scent covered it. But the new smell made Jafiya halt, and Kudan bumped into him.

'We are out of Obbler's Land,' said Jafiya.' My, this new land stinks, the smell is terrible.'

Kudan lifted his nose and sniffed the air, it WAS terrible!
He hid his nose in his chest, and hoped that Jafiya would not tell them to camp here.

'We shall camp here.' Jafiya told his lions.

Jet frowned smelling it. "I guess its the best we have got." She sighed.
Rosie noddded sadly

Jafiya looked about him, there were no caves to be seen for shelter, just small trees and blackening shrubs. Jafiya frowned as a sudden rumble came from the sky.
'We are going to have a sandstorm,' he said.' Kudan! You and Jet will stay here with Lucy and the others. I shall go with Rosie, for her fur is dark and will not be easily seen by the creatures who might possibly live in this strange place.'

Kudan nodded.

Jafiya called Rosie to come to him.

Rosie nodded walking slowly towards Jafiya. Her ears pricked down nervously

Neyjaki followed them."Kudan?I'd take you to the Pridelands if you want.Maybe you can stay there?"Neyjaki offered politely.

Kamira played around in the grass.She heard her mother's voice call her up."Coming mommy!"Kamira called.Kamira climbed up to the den.Her little brother Moyo was sleeping."Oh.Sleeping time already?"Kamira whined.Kamira hesitated and curled up,falling asleep.
