By the way, Cheyenne's father Jack, his full name is Jackson. LOL Thought I'd tell you)

Cheyenne looked down at her paws, then back at Zasshu. "Well, I'm afraid if we split up, one of us could get killed." Cheyenne said. Then she thought of something. "Me and my dad will go together, and you possabley go with, your brothers, or Krey.

"You're my mate. My job is to protect you. So I should go with you." Zasshu says.

"Jack can go with my brothers Shinso and Markus, and my sister Rukii. How does that sound?"

Cheyenne chuckled a smile. "Yeah, sound good." Cheyenne said happily.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Zasshu said. "Move out! Jack, go with my brothers and sister, Cheyanne and I will go together. As for the rest of you, stay here and guard the den. We will return shortly."

As soon as Zasshu was out of the den, Cheyanne followed. "Zasshu, I smell it again." Cheyenne said as the two teams of wolves split up.

"I smell it too..." Zasshu said, sniffing the air. "Where do you suppose it's coming from?"

Cheyanne took a while to find out. A few minutes later, she spoke. "This way." She said running to the south. They stoped at a river, at wich they drank out of. "Its getting stronger, we have to cross the river." Cheyanne said sniffing the air.

"Okay." Zasshu says, looking around and finds a log connecting their side of the river to the other side. "We can cross there."

"Alright." Cheyanne said smiling. Zasshu let Cheyanne go first. Every heard of, "ladies first". Cheyanne carefully went across. She heard a crack. "Zasshu, stay there." She said with a gulp. She took one more step, nothing happened. She took another one, still nothing. She was sure it was safe. Then see took another step, another cracking sound. She tried to take another step, when she put her paw down, she fell through the log, as well the log went down stream. Zasshu didn't know what to do. The current was too strong. "Zas-" Cheyanne didn't finish her sentence, before her head was dunked under water.

"Cheyanne!"

Zasshu bravely dove in after her, grabbing her scruff and pulling her back up above the surface, and he held onto her tight as they rapids carried them a quarter mile downstream, where Zasshu was finally able to drag Cheyanne to the shore on the other side of the river. Zasshu set Cheyanne down carefully, and worriedly.

"Cheyanne? Are you okay?" Zasshu nuzzled her neck. "Please be okay..."

Cheyanne's eyes were closed. She stayed lying like that, drenched. Her eyes opened, water came through her mouth. She coughed. "Zasshu? " She said looking up. She gasped then pounced on Zasshu, he fell on his back. Zasshu looked up. Behind him, the hunter and his aimed gun.

"Cheyanne, stay where you are!" Zasshu shouted.

Zasshu made his way in a circle up behind the hunter, and just as the hunter was about to shoot Cheyanne, Zasshu pounced on the hunter from behind and bit onto his gun, trying to pry it out of the hunter's hands.

Cheyanne watched Zasshu, the hunter was hitting at him. Cheyenne went behind the hunter, and bit his butt. He let go of the gun, once he did, Zasshu threw it into the river. Without his gun, he can't hurt them. Cheyenne smiled at Zasshu.

Zasshu smiled back, then pounced on the hunter and grabbed his neck, ripping his throat out. The hunter then fell onto the ground, and soon died after he had suffocated.

"Well, that takes care of him." Zasshu says. "Shall we tell the others? Or do you think there might be more than just one hunter?"

Cheyanne looked around. "I don't know for sure. But we might want to push the dead body into the water, if another hunter happens to come, they more likely won't try and look for us." Cheyanne said.

(A new drawing has been uploaded on Zasshu's character page, from ME!!! Yay!)<---
