Magic got out of the truck and walked inside, a women greeted her, and informed her that some of the kids were up, but not all, because it was after all very early. She went to see the kids. She spotted a little boy in the corner, he seemed to be amusing himself with a rubix cube. He was very cute and had the icy blue eyes that was only spoke of in books, she walked over and sat by him. What's your name?" she asked. "Blade." he said simply. She loved his name. She talked with him for several more minutes and about twenty minutes later, he was riding home with her on the passenger side of her truck.

His alarm clock rang when the nanny was supposed to come. John let her in and talked to her for a while. He let her sleep in the other guest bedroom and there she awaited the next day.

Magic stopped at the petshop, he didn't want anything yet, so she picked up some dog food for Belle. They continued driving.

Blade sat, he looked at Magic. They passed a sign. "Hey Magic, can we go back there." he said, the sign said horse auction. She said yes. He was loving her already, but he didn't know if he'd ever call her mother. They went back and she got him a bidding number and herself one, the auction started. She bought a bunch of horses for the stable and he waited, watching each horse.

He looked at the nanny and shook her hand before going back into his bed room and laying down. He could hear Boss and the puppy moving around. John ignored it and slept more, his daughter under his arm.

Villina was satisfied with every horse she bought. Heavens the stable needed them. She continued to bid, hating to see any horse go unsold. For she knew what happened to them when they weren't horse slaughter may be outlawed in America, but they could be trucked elsewhere.

Blade studied each horse. Finally a young mare came into the ring, she had fire in her eyes, a spring in her step. Something about her head him drawn in. He bidded, no one else did. She was sold. To him.

When the hour came he went off to work, leaving the nanny with Marleen. She was given a list of what Marleen should do every monring. Like her routine. John smiled and went to work.

Magic paid a man to bring all the horses to the farm. She smiled at Blade, as he patted his mare's neck and hopped in the truck. She drove him towards home.

Blade was bristling with excitement, he couldn't wait to see the horse farm. It was even more beautiful than he had imagined when they pulled up. He got out and helped the trucker unload the horses, he brought them to their stalls. He got his mare last and he walked her around, exploring his new home.

He walked by a man and bumped into him. The man dropped a bag of rocks on John's foot by accident and John hobbled to a bench and sat down. He was wearing work boots but it still hurt.

Magic watched her new son explore the place. He had a look of awe on his face. A grin twisted his lip from the original possition she had seen it in. It was no longer a frown and she was pleased with herself for adopting him.

Blade walked with his young mare. Se was a warmblood, he was she's of that and she was sweet, but sassy. After she had tested him several times, she surrendered to him and let him control her. But he was gentle and sweet with her.

John::
He returned home after the next hour and he litteraly fell onto the couch. The nanny walked over and put a gentle hand on his back, making sure he was alright. She had put Marleen to bed and she had made dinner for John.

Magic went inside and started to cook dinner, when she looked outside, she could see Blade and his mare. She smiled and leaned against the window, watching him.

Blade lunged the mare, watching her move, assessing her style and beat. She gave an occasional buck and had a nice spring in her step. He grinned as she gave a sassy buck when he flicked the lung whip in her direction, even though the tip never touch her hide.

John ~
He sat and ate some. Talking to the baby sitter while he ate slowly. He didn't know what to really talk about since he was single and he didn't want to make it seem like he was trying to flirt.

Magic leaned out the window. "Dinner." she called to Blade. He looked up. "Okay!" he called back. She walked deeper into the house, she would have to set aside a room for him, he had seemed interested in the basement. It could be entered and exited from the outside, without having to go through the main doors too. She smiled, yes, he would have the basement. It was big and perfect.

Blade went and led the mare inside, pondering a name. He jogged to the house and inside, sitting at the table, eager and hungry for food.

He had a little daydream. He didn't know why but he had it anyway, looking over at the babysitter. She was okay. John looked around the room, trying to take his mind off the situation.

"I think I'm going to name her Tink." Blade told Magic, who smiled and nodded, "That makes sense." she said, Tinkerbell had an attitude but she was a graceful and beautiful fairy. Blade smiled, Tink it was. He began to eat happily.
