Krystalia hugged him again. "I'm so happy that you like me too. I don't know what I would've done if you didn't."

Hobbes smiled. "Yeah, me too." He said, and hugged her back.

Krystalia was hugging him and thinking about how happy she was when she heard a sound nearby. In a flash, she pulled away from Hobbes and had her dagger at the ready. Sugarfoot stuck his head out from behind a nearby tree, and indicated to her that she needed to go back to their camp now. Krystalia nodded her understanding, and turned back to Hobbes. "I have to go..." She whispered softly to him.

Hobbes nodded. "I understand. I'll see you later then." he said softly.

Krystalia looked into his eyes, not wanting to leave him but knowing she had to. I want to kiss him on the cheek... But I don't know if I should... Would he like it? Is it too fast?... Krystalia threw her arms around Hobbes, and hugged him tightly. "I don't want to have to leave..." she whispered.

ooc:// It's okay. It took me so long to respond because I had writer's block. Sorry about that by the way.

Hobbes hugged back. "I don't want to leave either, but, Addanc might wake up..." he mumbled, and glanced back at Addanc sleeping figure.

"I know... Bye..." Krystalia pulled away slowly and started to leave.

Hobbes just gazed after her. He didn't want he to leave, why couldn't they just be together? He pushed the question aside, he turned, glanced over his shoulder one more time, then went back to their makeshift camp slowly.

Addanc blinked her eyes open to see Hobbes poking at the ground with a stick. His face was slightly flushed, and he yawned slightly. "You're tired. I'll watch now. Sleep." she suddenly said, heaving herself up. Hobbes jumped slightly, then nodded sleepily, and plopped down on the ground on his sleeping sack. He started to snore. Addanc shook her head and chuckled slightly. "Get your rest Hobbes, who knows when Balan will strike us next. And the Princess will be brought back, her father must be very worried." she said softly.

When Krystalia reached Sugarfoot, he gave her a disapproving look and headbutted her. "I know. I know. I wasn't thinking clearly, and I put our position at risk. I'm sorry. I should have left sooner. You're right." She mounted her loyal steed, and went off to their camp for the night. "Would you mind taking first watch?" Krystalia asked him. "I've got a lot of thoughts going through my head right now." She laid down, and easily drifted off to sleep, knowing Sugarfoot would protect her.

Hobbes snored and stirred slightly on his sleeping sack. Addanc shook her head and smiled. "Boys." she muttered.

Balan watched from a tree, glaring at the boy and Addanc. It would be so easy to just knock an arrow and kill the boy...but that would ruin his fun. He liked to play with his food, and he had no chance of beating Addanc if she found out who killed her companion.

"Hobbes!" Krystalia called out as she bolted up right out of her sleep. Sugarfoot jumped around and stared at her, alarmed. "Sorry, I had a dream where that assassin actually killed him..." She shook her head to try and get the image of Hobbes's dead body out of her head. "Let's move our location since I woke up so loudly." She began packing their stuff while Sugarfoot woke up the other animals.

Hobbes's eyes shot open. He could have sworn he heard Krystalia's voice.

Addanc looked around, narrowing her eyes. Who was that?

"How loud was I when I woke up?" Krystalia whispered to Sugarfoot as they snuck through their forest to a new location. Sugarfoot looked away. Krystalia swore under her breath. "We need to get far away from our last location... and fast..."

Hobbes pretended he wasn't awake, and closed his eyes.

Addanc glanced around. She could've sworn she heard something, maybe it was a bird. She decided to keep her guard up.

Balan glanced around wildly. What was that noise? Whatever it was, it ruined the element of surprise for him. He swore under his breath.

Sugarfoot, Krystalia, and the other animals set up the new camp quickly and quietly. Krystalia couldn't sleep so she decided to keep watch over Hobbes. She grabbed her bow and quiver and made sure her dagger was concealed in her right boot. A few of the sparrows went with her, and together they quietly perched in a tree near Hobbes's camp site. They were a good distance away, but close enough where she could shoot an arrow into any part of the camp.
