Jack noticed his expresion, and chuckled softly.
"Heh. An old sea wolf like me, tends to read more into weather. . "
He turned his head.
"I-I'll go get something to eat. I'm starving. . "

"Okay.." Orion said, his stomach growled. "Mind if I join you?" he asked.

Jack smiled
"Sure."
As he turned to leave, he sniffed the air once more, and continued walking.

Orion trotted after him, quickly picking up the scent of a grouse, his favorite.

Werewolf Pirate · **Posted:** Wed Nov 09, 2011 8:30 pm

Jack caught the same scent, and wrinkled his nose.
"Eh, you can have it."
He smiled back at Orion.
"I don't care much for grouse. .. "
He turned his attention to a young deer and it's mother not too far away.
"That, on the other paw. . .."

He crept slowly towards the deer, and when he was within a few yards, he charged them, pinning the baby down.

He paused, looking at the pitifull creature below him.

Orion nodded and crept towards the grouse, his ears perked.

The mother deer tried to ward him off, and kicked Jack in the jaw.
He yelped, but didn't let the deerling up.

He desperately struggled to decide just how hungry he was, and if he should finish the little thing off.

Jack roared, grumpily.
"It's your lucky day, little one."
He got off the deerling, and walked away.

Orion pounced on the grouse, killing it immediately, he trotted over to Orion, it hanging out of his mouth.

"Alright! Ya got it!"
Jack sniffed the ground and caught scent of a near-by rabbit.
"Let me try again. . "

Orion nodded, he set the grouse down and started eating it.

Werewolf Pirate · **Posted:** Wed Nov 09, 2011 8:53 pm

A short time later, Jack returned with the rabbit hanging lifelessly in his mouth.
He set it down a short distance from Orion.
"I'd have preferred deer, but I diddn't have the heart to kill the little creature."
He hungerly dug into the rabbit and within minutes it was completely gone.
"These little buggers are a pain to catch!"

Flutterby · **Posted:** Wed Nov 09, 2011 8:55 pm

"Yeah.." Orion said.

Werewolf Pirate · **Posted:** Wed Nov 09, 2011 9:00 pm

Jack cleaned his face with his paws.
He stood and shook his whole body, his long 'maine' flopped over his eyes.
He shook his head and darted off at random birds.
"It's been a while since I could run without fear!" He yipped happily.

Orion grinned, he trotted around sniffing the air.

Jack playfuly rolled in the snow.
He got snow up his nose, and jumped, sneezing and shaking his head.
He chased a squirrel up a tree, and yapped at it, standing on his hind legs.
