Adia groaned and opened her eyes but closed them immedaitely as the bright sun touched her eyes but she soon got use to it as she got up and began washing her fur and face.

Kefir nosed his sister up. "Its time to go." he said.

Adia got up and nuzzled her brother Hadi. "Hadi.... time to get up.'' She whispered in his ear.

Kaliona and Hadi got up, yawning. Kaliona gave herself a quick wash and then Hadi nosed Safari up.
"Dad, we're off."

Uzuri opened her eyes and nudged Safari. "Safari dear... the children are off to patrol the borders.'' She said.

Safari opened one drowsy eye. "The border? Oh yeah, good luck with that." he said, smiling at the four young lions.

"Aren't you suppose to go with them?'' Asked Uzuri getting up and stretching out her muscles.

Adia looked at Kefir and smiled lovingly at him she was falling deeply in love with the young male and most of the pride lionesses could tell that they would be perfect for each other.

"Huh?" Safari asked, looking at his mate. "No. Its only a patrol for them. Them Only." he added before he put his head on his paws and went to sleep.

Kefir sighed. He could see that his and Adia's friendship was growing, but he began to wonder whether there was something more than friendship between them. As for him, he was falling in love with Adia, even though he didn't know it.

Adia nodded and began walking out of the cave and breathed in the sweet morning smell. "It's a perfect day for a border patrol. Don't you think Kefir?'' She asked as the young yellow male lion walked out and stood beside Adia waiting for Hadi and Kaliona.

He nodded. "Sure is." he replied. "Where are they? We're gonna be late?"

Adia looked behind Kefir and saw Kaliona and Hadi walking out of the den as usual her brother's mane was all messy from tossing and turning to get comfortable and go to sleep. Adia chuckled and nuzzled her brother. "Nice hairdew.'' She said chuckling.

He looked at her with a slightly annoyed look on his face. He shook his head and looked his friends over. "Ready to go?" he asked.

Adia walked beside Kefir. Her tail entertwinieng with Kefir's. She purred and licked his face and licked his left eye making it close then open after she was done licking it.

"It tickles." he grinned.

Adia purred and looked straight ahead they were nearing the borders.(Is this when Kefir saves Adia from the stampeed?).
