No daddy don't! I said holding onto my dad's pant leg. He was going to get rid of Diesel. He was going to an abandoned field. He said it'd be 'quick'. I knew what that meant. Daddy please he deserves a second chance please! He would listen to me. He put Diesel in his truck and drove off. I chased after him on Lunar until he drove faster and faster. He turned a corner and I lost him. I stopped and looked around. I turned Lunar around and went back to the ranch.

Nicoli posted a show on the bulletin board and sighed, he waited for everyone to gather round' then announced. "It's next week, start getting ready."

Josh:
I came back, Diesel not with me this time. I threw the wool blanket over the rifle in the back seat and looked at Jasmine. I knelt down to her and touched her shoulder. Jazzy, listen. It- She smacked my hand and took off for her room. Tears streaming down her face.

Jason rode Champ up the hills, he paused and looked down at the ranch.

Josh:
I walked back to my truck and I drove down a few back roads. I couldn't believe how I could just put my best friend down like that. I hated myself for that.

Champ snorted and tossed his head, Jason patted the stallion's neck and kicked him forward again.

Apocalypto:
I messed with the latch on my stable door and opened it. Trotting out and circling Josh I nickered and whinnied to him. I could see he was feeling bad so I did a show performance I picked up from the girls. Ending it with a bow I saw it still didn't make him feel better.

Champ spooked as a quail kicked up in front of them, throwing Jason and running off.

Josh:
Jasmine... I walked to her room and knocked on the door, I could hear her crying as she told me to go away. I asked her what she wanted for dinner and I got screamed at. I walked away from the door and plopped down on the couch. I could hear her voice now, I said in a whisper. Life is better without any kids. I said in a normal way, unaware that she was just about to the doorway of the living room. Jasmine crept back to her room, I switched on the T.V.

Champ ran back to the stables, Nic saw him and was alarmed at the empty saddle. His brother hadn't fallen of his horses since the third grade... He jumped on Cookie and rode out to look for him.
