The man walked in and said to the vet that both of the males were his dogs. The vet believed him, and put a leash on both Saber and Koak. The vet then handed the leashes to the man, and the man pulled Saber and Koak away.

"Saber, waht is going on." Koak said to Saber.

Saber looked down at his paws, ashamed. "I'm sorry, Koak. I tried." The two were led into an ally, once in the ally they were braught through a door and into a room full of cages with big and large dogs in them. Saber and Koak were both thrown into wooden crates next to each other.
Saber didn't bother to ask Koak to pick the lock, because it required 2 paws and Koak only had one. He lay down with his back against the wall he shared with Koak. It was hopeless.

"wait, you knew this was going to happen?" Koak asked, a little bit more of a aggressive tone in his voice now.

Saber replied sadly from his crate, "I knew this would happen to me. I didn't know it would end up like this for you too."

Koak rolled his eyes and layed down at the far end of the crate.

Saber tried to sleep away his troubles, but he couldn't. Finally, he couldn't stand his sadness. He shed a silent tear and lay there, waiting for a man to come.

Koak kept staring at the lock, he knew how to pick it, but couldn't then got the idea. "Hey, you have two paws, i'll tell you how to open the locks." he ssuggested.

Saber didn't reply. He lay there, and let one sniffle escape. The door burst open, and two men walked in. Saber didn't look to see who they would take, but when he saw a man coming towards Koak, Saber panicked. He sprung up and miserably tried to knock their crates off of the table they were on. It didn't budge, and the man took Koak away into a small pen. Saber was very worried, knowing Koak wouldn't last well in a dog fight.

Koak gave Saber a worried look and looked up at the man who was caring him and looked forward.

Saber was desperate now. He started barking madly, and began to hit every side of his cage. Hopefully, they would see his "want" to fight. The other man saw an interest in Saber, and grabbed him as well as another dog. Both Saber, Koak, and a very large dog were placed in the pen. Bets were placed, and the other dog lunged forward at Koak. Saber was faster then the unknown dog, and intercepted the attack, making the dog fly into a wall of the pen.

Koak was frighten, He started nipping at the cast to get it off, hopefully his paw would be good enough to walk on. He was soon able to catch a area where he was able to rip the whole thing off and that is what he did, he got into a Battle position, and growled at the larger dog.

Saber growled at the dog as it got up onto it's paws. This time it went barreling towards Koak.

Koak rolled out of the way letting the dog smash into the wall of the pin. He growled more, "You can try better then that mutt."

Saber called to Koak from across the pen while the large dog was recoiling, "Do you think you can get the cast off?"
