Agumon took her Ice Cream gratefully and said "Thank you, Mister. I am very grateful."

Ron nodded his head until he remembered that he was on the phone and hurriedly said "Yeah. Okay. We'll meet you guys there." He closed his cell phone and looked down at Gabumon while saying "You ready to meet up with the others, buddy? I know I am."

Hajime knocked at Eiji's dad's cabin door and waited for an answer.

Kittomon smiled and said "It's a good thing that she wasn't in any harm. I was when Eiji found me. I was trying to take down a Greymon all by myself but was getting killed. I even started to fade away again when Eiji found me."

"It's my duty, Miss Agumon," said Faron, heading over and getting the door. "Hello, Master Hajime," he said, openning the door.

Biyomon flew down and landed next to Hajime. "Wow, nice place..."

Akari nodded. "Greymon?" she asked. "I take it that's a simular species to what she'll Digivolve into again? GeoGreymon?"

Gabumon nodded. "Alright, let's go," he said, but how do we get there?"

Hajime bumped past Faron and said "Hi, Eiji."

Kittomon growled at Hajime and said "Say you sorry to, Faron-san, or else."

Hajime stared at Kittomon and said angrily "Shut up, whatever you are. You are not the boss."

Kittomon tackled Hajime to the ground and said "Says who, punk."

Agumon dropped the Ice Cream and pushed Kittmon off of Hajime. She said "I'm sorry, Kittomon, but you need to step away from Hajime. So please. Just leave this room for now and then come back once you get your temper back."

Kittomon stared at Hajime and said angrily "This isn't over, you little brat."

Hajime huffed and said "Shut up and do what miss perty says or I'll beat you up to a pulp."

Kittomon finally did what Agumon said and left the room with his head low while looking sadly at Eiji.

Hajime looked at Eiji and said "You need a leash for that beast."

Eiji snarled. "And you need to shut your mouth about my PARTNER," he said. "He's not a beast, he's just respectful of Faron-san."

"Alright! Let's just settle down!" said Biyomon. "We're all friends here, so settle!"

"Thank you Biyomon," said Eiji. "Anyway, Faron-san, will you please pick up Ron?" he asked, calling Ron. "Ron, I'm sending Faron-san to pick you and Gabumon up, just wait up," he explained. "If everyone had waited, I'd have sent him to get everyone, but of well," he said, hanging up. "You got here before I could send him out, sorry guys," he explained. "Anyway, my parents should be on their way, I sent them an email. They believed me five years ago since they saw the fight with Spinomon. They'll help us get set up."

"Good idea," said Akari. "They're pretty wealthy, so they'll be able to help out a lot."

"Ron, whose Faron?" asked Gabumon, cocking his head.

Ron looked down at Gabumon and said "He is Eiji's practically servant. Like a babysitter for us I think." He sat down on the ground near Gabumon and started caressing his back gently.

Agumon smiled up at Eiji and said "Yeah. They sure would. When exactly will they be here?"

Kittomon kept growling in the other room and circled it a lot of times.

Gabumon's tail started going like a dog when it got scratched.

They're taking the helicopter," said Eiji, going to the other room to be with Kittomon.

"That was good work, Agumon," said Akari. "You and Biyomon seem a lot alike, don't you?"

"We're motherly types," said Biyomon, smiling. "I take care of Digi-Eggs back home."

Kittomon looked at Eiji and said "What is his problem?" He huffed and started back up with the circling.

Agumon chuckled and said "I did the same thing and more. I took care of the take carers too. I was a big hen so to speak. Just takin' care of everybody." She smiled warmly and said "And it won't be any different here."

Ron smiled and said while scratching "I'm glad that you are enjoying this Gabumon. Tell me where your favorite spot is and I'll scratch there too."

"Just checking on you," said Eiji. "Sorry for Hajime, he's just anti-social most of the time."

Akari nodded. "Fits you," she said. "So you four were chosen for this mission because of what happened five years ago with Spinomon?"

"Up a little bit, on my neck," said Gabumon. "I sometimes wonder why I'm reptile-like when me and my digivolutions are more canine like."

Kittomon sighed and said "Still. It doesn't give the right to be a jerk to people. You don't even have to respect them, just don't be a jerk to them. You need people in this world. Without them you are nothing. He should know that. Everyone should know that."

Agumon looked at Akari and said while smiling at her "That is right. But you four humans were also chosen to do this too. Don't forget your guys's importance in this. Us partners must remain together. We are stronger together than we are apart."

Hajime looked at Biyomon and asked "Is that true? Am I really stronger with you?"

Ron smiled and scratched where Gabumon said too. He smiled and said "How would you like to become one with me if that's even possible? Would you like that? Sharing minds with me? And being able to feel each other's souls and our power? I think it would be different but at the same time I think it would be cool to finally connect with someone on that level for once in my life."

"I know, but Hajime is well...Hajime. He's got a good heart...somewhere," said Eiji, rubbing his head. "It's just buried under it all."

Biyomon nodded. "Yes, you're more durable at least, you're sharing my energy to some degree," she explained. "But Eiji and Kittomon...their bond is exceptionally strong for some reason, that's why Eiji is strong enough to punch out Digimon, no normal human could ever do that."

"It'd be cool, I guess," said Gabumon. "I'm not sure if it's possible, but if it is, it might be fun...if it worked right..." he said, before the limo pulled up. "Is that Faron?"

Ron nodded his head and said "Yeah. That's Faron. Come on." He opened the door to the limo for Gabumon to come in first and said "Hello, Faron. How are you doing?"

Hajime nodded his head and said "Could we become strong together? IF I let you in?"

Kittomon sighed and said "But it's so hard to accept that after what I have seen. I'll take your word on it though because I trust you more than anyone . . . even myself." He started circling around again and asked "But why is he like that for then? Why wouldn't he just let himself out of his cage? What's stopping him?"

Gabumon climbed in and set down. "Wow, this is cool."

"Very good, Master Ron," said Faron. "The others are at the cabin, shall we head there as well?"

"We'll become more powerful the stronger our bond is," said Biyomon. "That energy that shows up around your hand is an example of it when it's activated."

"I don't know," said Eiji. "I think something tragic happened to him once..." he explained. "He's closed himself off."

Ron looked at Faron and nodded his head while saying "Yeah." He looked at Gabumon and asked "What do you mean if it worked right? What could go wrong with it?"

Hajime nodded his head and said "Could I become stronger than Eiji if we make a better bond?"

Kittomon looked down at the ground and said "I didn't know that. I'm sorry, Eiji. I am such a fool."

"Well if it messed up," said Gabumon. "I wouldn't want to merge with you and be a mishmatch of the two off us, that's be scary."

"Possibly," said Biyomon. "If it's entirely the result of his bond. In fact, while we know it's safe, we don't completely understand the bond, only the Sovereigns due."

"Sovereigns?" asked Akari.

"It's alright, pal," said Eiji, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Now why don't we practice a little bit?"

Ron nodded his head and shivered while saying "Yeah. That would be scary but I doubt that would happen. Not to us."

Agumon smiled up at Akari and said "They are Digimon Gods who are exposed to keep order in the Digital World. They do but when something like this happens they can't interfere much. It's weird how they work even to other Digimon. Just like the human God and his work is weird to humans. We can't understand them. We aren't meant to."

Kittomon nodded his head and said "Yeah. Okay. Let's do it, I guess."
