Joey shook his head, he didn't know. "I don't know. I can't even remember my puphood. much less what breed of animal I am. I just always thought of myself as dog. And I'm not even sure if Joey is my real name." He said and glanced at the collar around his neck, the charm on it read Kurade(Koo-ruh-dA).

Juruken sighed and looked back ahead of him. He readied himself for the race that was about to begen.

Juneau: Looks at jeoy more closly. Some wolf some dog "If i'm not mistaken you might be a wolf-dog and your name would of been Kurade"

Jaenie turned to look at Juruken. "Hey. It's going to be OK. We can survive this." She said calmly.

Man: "Alright... The race to juneau will begin in..." Holds a gun up "3......... 2........... 1........" Fires the gun

FW & NH Musher: "Hike!"

The Nome Huskies ran as fast as they could, leaving the Fairbanks Wolves in the dust.
"Wait!!!! Stop!!!!!!! What are you DOING, Jaenie?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Michigan yelled. Jaenie stopped and whirled around to face Melanie.
"What do you THINK we're doing?!!!!" She asked. Melanie didn't answer. She shrunk back slowly.
"That's what I thought. Now c'mon!!!" Jaenie said, starting to run again. The members of the Nome Huskies followed closely behind.

Lesher: "come on jurken why are you not going faster? There gettign away." Starts to run a little faster

Juruken looked up as if coming out of a daze. "Huh? Oh! Right!" He charged forward, Soon thay pulled up along side the huskies. "Hello ladies." He smirked, and turned his head to his team, and pointed with toward the place between two moutains. "Lets go!" With that he howled and lead his team onward.

Joey, ran as he thought of what Juneau had said. "Do you thing i've been living a lie my whole life?" He asked her his voice just above a whisper. He was unsure as to what she had said, but he found the truth in it.

Juneau: Watches them pass by "Well.. I can't be for certant that your a wolf dog i see some dog and some wolf... And i bet the name on the collar is your real name."

Lesher: Smiled at Jamie then he went on past them.

Juruken smiled at his team, "Good work keep it up, we'll run four at least two days before we stop to rest. Anything you guy would like to asked before we get to far ahead from the huskies?" He asked as he slowed his pase just a bit as to let his team talk alittle bit with the other team, before pulling on.

Joey smiled, "You're right, i do believe that that was once my name, but i still like Joey, But Kurade is a cool name to, mayby i can be called Joey by my close friends, and Kurade by stangers, or the other way around, ether way i do want to in some way use both names." He said and noticed that it was longest thing he'd ever said in one prase to anyone before. He was really starting to like Juneau.

Juneau: Her harness broke from the rest bot no one notices YET. "Kurade for your closest friends and Joey by strangers thats the best way." After she said that she slide on some ice sliding away from the rest of the team "My Harness"

NH Musher: "Whoa!" He said telling the team to stop.

Lesher: "Yea you should stop i think one of the huskeys fell out of their harnesses and fell on some ice."

"What?!" Juruken put on the brakes and slipped on the ice as the others topped him, He looked back at the huskies, pulled out of his own harness, and ran over to them. "Is everyone ok?" He asked as he came to a stop next to Jaenie.

Joey stopped and was at Juneau's side so fast that no one have even seen him move. "Are you alright?" He asked as he looked over her harness. "It snapped." He said as he pulled his head back up and looked at the others.

Juneau: Tries to get up but falls to the ground.

NH Musher: Walks up to juneau and looks at her leg and paw. "We'll put you on the sled for now it will get better eventualy." He picks her up and puts her on the ground of the sled.

Juruken signed. "Good, nothing major." He said and padded back over to his team, and stepped back into his harness.

Joey stayed right by Juneau, as she was put in the sled, and he was hooked back up, "I hope you'll be ok." He said more to himself then to her.

NH & FW Musher: "Hike!" To send both teams running again.

Juruken pulled his team onward, but not pulling to far ahead of that other team. He wanted to keep an eye on them.

Joey pulled the sled with the rest of his team. but still stay right next to Juneau, never leaving her side.
