Way too much. I have 6 original plushies I got the Christmas after the movie was released. I also have a the Pride rock & Elephant graveyard playsets, with little rubber characters.
I also have a lot from the musical, including t-shirts,books, and signed programmes.
I own the Japanese, French, US and UK version of TLK on VHS. US and UK 2003 trilogy DVD releases.
I am such a child. I have been counting down to this release from the vault for the last 5/6 years. I knew it was coming Fall 2011, and when it actually was announced I got excited because of all the merch. Yes, I am like that.
If last time was anything to go buy, if TLK things are too expensive for you right now, wait till about a year after the re-release, and the merch price goes down. Especially on sites like Ebay and Amazon.

Went to Subway today and got a lion king bag with a lion king wrist band in it. There's also a $5 off coupon for the Blu-ray combo pack. ..There's no stickers though. D: WHY?? I guess I'd have to buy 6 kids meals to get all 6 bags, and that's not something I wanna do for small TLK items lol.
