Sakak and Dusty laughed heavily. "I do believe its time he got another warning," he said, turning back into his Black Cat form. "After all, we're not here to just torture him, he's supposed to be taught a lesson."

Tai and Kai started to run. Tai had to turn it down a few notches though.

Belladonna wiped a tear from her eye, breathing heavily. "Definitely. Let's warn him again." she said, shiftign into a black cat. She coughed. "Shall we?" she asked Pakak in a hoity toity tone.

Sakak nodded. "Yes, let's," he said, once more in his refined voice. "Well well," he stated, walking within a few paws lengths of Kodi. "Looks like your bad luck still hasn't left, dear boy."

Cachen Looked to make sure Anabelle was doing ok. "You ok, Anabelle?"

Kodi looked on edge, scratching like crazy. "Huh? What bad luck? I've got fleas- Ralph sleeps in here all the time, they must be his. And the plants and floorboards; humph, this place is really old!" he was kidding himself mostly, knowing it was all horrible luck.


"Now, darling, do you really believe that? I don't think you do." Belladonna said, yellow eyes gleaming. "These are some strange "coincidences", too close together to be normal."

Anabelle had opted out to fly. "I'm doing just fine, just keep going."

"You get fleas and then fall into a bunch of poison ivy," said Sakak. "In the middle of the winter, mind telling me the odds of that, dear boy?"

"Alright," said Cachen, looking to his siblings. "Where should we go exactly?"

Kodi looked for an answer, still scratching nonchalantly. "Slim, but not entirely impossible!"

Belladonna didn't look amused. "Thats the wrong answer. The correct answer is completely impossible."

"To the other side of town, I think. Or a little ways into the woods." said Kai, loooking at his younger brother.

"My boy, you're jinxed, no doubt about it," said Sakak. "Your luck is going to keep going down hill until you do something about it. And believe me, we know luck. We are Black Cats after all."

"Woods," said Lena. "Someone in town might see us, woods is more like we ran away."

Kodi didn't seem to want to believe it. But... he played along, cocked an eyebrow. "Okay, say I am jinxed, what caused it?"

"Creatures of any kind develop bad luck when they've made a mistake, or went against nature's plan for them." Belladonna said with a smug smile. "Isnt that right, dear?" she asked, turning to Sakak.

Tai nodded, looking straight ahead. "Then we had better really haul tail. We're going to have to go deep into the forest. Kai can stop us if we step into claimed territory. The forest is his element after all." she said with a smirk to her brother.

Kai nodded, smirking right back. "Yea, we'll have to be careful. I'll keep on my toes once we reach trees."

Sakak nodded. "Yes yes, quite right," he said. "Well its not that your fate is set in stone, it's more if you've hurt someone terribly," he said. "Something excessively selfish is a very good way to earn yourself a bit of karmic retribution. Like remember that Steele chap that used to live around here," he continued, knowing Steele had changed his ways, because he and Belladonna had been the ones to do it, but using him as an example. "He had it all, fame, most of the females in Nome in his paw, was the town hero. Then he kept lying and putting his own desires before everyone else's needs, including that of the town itself. He lost everything and was chased out of town, hated by everyone. Your friend Fang can tell you what happened when he was legitimently good for a spell, got a good mate, a loving pup, and was actually happy. Then he breaks up with her and breaks her and Fang's heart. Last I heard he's living in a decrepted shack with no heat, little food, and still hated by everyone," he said, knowing Steele had actually changed and his life was much better now that he had Goldie and was being a good dog. "That's good and bad karma, do something bad, bad things happen to you, do something good, good things happen," he said. "The only cure for bad karma bad luck, which is the WORST kind by the way, is to fix what you've done the best you can and start doing good."
