Kyler allowed him to hug her, and she asked quietly, "You mean... about what just happened back there?" She was referring to when he found out he was destined to learn how to control the elements. "I was definitely not expecting that either." she added, hugging him back and laying her head on his shoulder.

Kyler looked up at him briefly, then laid her head back on his shoulder. "Yeah, I feel the same way." she replied, breathing deeply through her nose, trying to get herself to relax after the memory of what happened earlier. "Are you sure that's all you're worried about?"

Kyler closed her eyes, feeling safe in Damien's embrace. "Well, if there's anything else bothering you, you know you can always tell me." She knew there was something else; she felt him tense up when she asked. But, she figured, If he wants to say something, he will.

Kyler's eyes lit up. "So I was right!" she exclaimed. She poked him in the chest. "There is something else! Feel like sharing?" she blinked her eyes innocently, waiting for him to tell her what's really been going on.

Ooc://  At first, Kyler was totally taken by surprise. Her eyes widened as they met, but... it somehow felt so natural, like it was always meant to happen. After a few seconds, she closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed him back. She knew they always had some sort of connection, but she never thought it would happen so soon.
Although she never wanted it to end, Kyler slowly pulled away, her eyes still closed and hr arms still around his shoulders. She opened her eyes again and gave a small smile. "What was that for?" she asked quietly, their faces still close.

Ooc:// No, it's perfectly fine XD I was just surprised. I swear when I read it I almost went "AWWW <3" all loudly and what-not  Kyler smiled at his answer, thinking it was cute how he blushed when he gave it. She looked away too for a moment, but then back at him. "I... guess... I like you too." she replied, brushing her bangs out of her face, knowing it must be bright red by now. She pulled on Damien's jacket to bring him closer, and she stood on her tiptoes and kissed him again.
This kiss lasted for just a few seconds, because her alarm on her watch began to buzz. It was getting late, and her family would be wondering where she was. She pulled away again and sighed, turning the alarm off. "I have to go home now." she said sadly. "I didn't realize the time." Figures. The one time in her life she was able to express her feelings to someone she cared deeply about, and it couldn't even last. "I'm sorry." she apologized, looking down, unable to meet his gaze.

Kyler looked back up at him and thought a little. She didn't want to go back home. Her parents have been fighting horribly lately, and it made her sad to watch them and hear them cuss each other out. She bit her lip nervously, her hands still resting on Damien's shoulders. "You know what," Kyler reasoned, still biting her lip but now slightly grinning. "I think my parents would be too busy yelling at each other to even notice I'm gone." Her hands slid down his arms and held his hands. "And I could spend more time with you."
