Arlough's eyes flashed to Declan. "If anyone is going to fail, it's me." he said, believeing every word. He wasn't going to admit he wasn't a good flyer, with his sloppy take-offs and clumsy landings.

"Anyway," he began, trying to remember what his clan told about the Kaito. "Well, to my clan, you're all stuck-up children who think they're better than us." he said flatly. "The Kaito are said to be cowards for not wanting a fight, and that they're always going to try to find the easy way out, because they're too lazy and afraid and think they're too good for war." As he explained the Kuganati thoughts about Kaito, his voice was monotone, but anger still flamed inside him. Ever since he was a yearling, he'd believed every word of it without question. And still did. He wasn't giving up his plan to take Saangi to his father, even if it killed him.

To answer Arlough, he shot him a glance. Not necessarily angry, but more of just a normal look than anything. "I wouldn't be so sure about that," he admitted.

When Sora was finished speaking, he nodded, but said nothing. All he wanted was to not talk for now and get out of there. He wanted them to continue on the journey as if nothing ever happened. He too hated arguments, and was never really the type to fight full out unless it was necessary. "No one needs to fight. I'm sure of that now," he said.

His wings were almost fully healed by now, and he extended them to look at the edges previously burnt.

Delcan took a glance at Saangi, a few feet away from him, and shook himself after she was done speaking. His golden scales glimmered ever so slightly as they ruffed the lightest way. He spread his wings further and despite the healing burned edges, he bent his body into a pouncing movement.

He put his front legs as far back as they could go, his back legs all the way to his tail as high as they could reach, and leaped up into the air with amazing force from the wind. He stumbled a bit through the air as his wings tried to regain balance (the edges were slightly gone, but still mending), but eventually became steadier.

Though he wasn't entirely smooth in his flight at the moment, he would be very soon. He was sure of it. "So, then, we'll go now?" He asked.

Arlough extended his enormous wings and began flapping, the overload of scales and skin getting in the way of good movement. He angled his wings the way he did when he broke his record, and with one powerful flap, he was already off the ground. Maybe having huge wings and a small body was an advantage after all. He flapped and struggled to stay steady, but was able to follow alright.

Declan was skeptical, and slightly suspicious, but in the end he gave in knowing that Saangi probably knew best and would never lie to them about something like this. Heck, she would never lie at all if he knew her as well as he thought he did.

He descended slowly, bringing his body stumbling through the wind, and eventually landing down with a slight thud of his claws against the gravel and dirt. "So, then, what now?" He asked, a bit uncertain.

Arlough recognized the voice immediately, but didn't hide. He was Kuganati anyway. He continued acting casually, not caring whether or not Hisho spotted him.
