Jet did nothing but nod. Asphodel's actions towards him had been more than gratifying. He had expected her to take some sort of serious action against him. Though, she did not. He was thankful for that, though didn't let his guard down for what could possibly come next. "We'll do as she says," he called towards the others. "Follow me."

With a turn of his head and a flick of his tail, he began trotting off. After a few meters, he stopped to check if everyone was doing alright as far as being able to keep with the pace. He walked a bit further back to be beside Hitze and Matya. "You two doing alright?" He asked gently. He already trusted Hitze, and as far as he could tell, Ryder seemed okay for at least a fraction.

He turned back and sighed. Why didn't he trust them? He had trusted Matya and Hitze so easily. Why were these two so hard to be nice to? He just had bad vibes. Shaking his fur, he took the lead again.

It wasn't long before the big cave stood before the group of five. "Here it is." He breathed a visible breath. The air was becoming icy cold, and he could see the air from his nostrils as the warm clashed with the outside temperature. He turned slowly to see everyone else. He waited until everyone got in, and sat by the entrance. He didn't even go inside. He felt he had to guard the others and keep them safe. If not Ryder and Quilat, at least Matya and Hitze.

(Bump. Who wants to post next? I'm now waiting on Faye and Janus (Norte and Thor) as Asphodel and Talon (Elspeth) as Zhivel.)

Bump. I'll be posting again and leaving Norte and Thor to come and catch up with the rest of the group in a day or two if I don't get a reply from them. Anyone else who would like to post about reaching the cave can. I don't like to skip people, but it's way past time that we moved beyond this point in the story.

Jet wasn't exactly sure about what to think. Suddenly his alpha seemed all nice with the newbie. It wasn't characteristic of her. Or... maybe it was, but Jet had just never known it. He tried to think back to when he met Asphodel himself. The memory was clear, since, it hadn't been too long ago.

Though this new friendly side between all of them still unnerved Jet nearly to the bone. He tried his best to trust the two newcomers. He truly did. But for now he'd have to lay low and make sure he didn't say anything to give away his feelings of menace. He knew the others wouldn't react well to a beta under stress. Or, who knows how they'd react anyways.

All Jet knew was that he felt uneasy with these strangers, even if they were there to help. And now, he suddenly realized that a pang of jealousy was flying his way, hitting him like a small slap. He glared in their direction, but quickly looked away and breathed slowly and quickly turned to the wall. He couldn't let his bad feelings be seen. He just couldn't.

This pack was his last hope. Everyone's last hope, for peace at last. And he sure as hell wouldn't be the one to screw it all up.
