I'll try to post as often as I can, but it won't be frequently. I'm busy, and lack a decent computer...sorry for this inconvenience.

OOC: No problem; I've been pretty busy myself, so no concern there. But has anyone heard from Moki Hunter? Technically, with how the rp is flowing right now, they need to post next

OOC: I'm really sorry I haven't replied recently. I will now!
Aaron looked back to see a new face. It seemed as though her name was Maiya. There was no time for him to introduce himself, though, for like Lylli said, this really wasn't a time for introductions. He turned back, not even really coughing at the smoke (he practically breathed the stuff whenever) to answer her question. "Not much farther! The cave entrance should end after a few more yards!"
In only a few minutes, they were out, but Aaron had a strange feeling they were being watched... or as if they weren't alone.. He stopped, sniffing the air.

OOC: Don't sweat it. I'm just glad that your back! Now, to get things rolling, heheheheh!!! xD
Bic: Lyllii's grip tightened on her staff. Sinister laughter echoed off the moist walls, causing mini cascades of dust as the soundwaves rumbled around the fragile crevices, growing steadily louder. The sap froze in her veins.
"I-I know that voice," she murmured, feet shifting backwards. "No, no... no! It can't be! He's dead; I watched him die!" Her staff clattered to the ground as she covered her ears against it in vain. Her eyes widened as a ghostly figure stepped out from the dust. "Disarming yourself isn't wise, is it, nymph?" said the Shade, chuckling once again. A dusty javilin pointed threateningly towards the group of soot-sodden youths.
[NOTE: Dust-based illusion of the Apprentice, easy to defeat if a battle sequence follows, but annoying]
Meanwhile, sea-green eyes watched the scene unravel from behind a stalagmite with vague interest.

Kasha felt instincts take over, and her staff was immediatly unsheathed, along with her lethal claws. Her eyes narrowed and she hissed at the dusty figure. "Lyllii, who is it?" she asked. The nymph was pale underneath the soot and ash, and Kasha felt fierce loyalty to her friend suddenly.
Maiya's heart jumped to her throat at the laughter, and the dusty javelin made her turn almost as pale as Lyllii. She focused, drawing the water fragemnts in the air into a small orb in her palm that glowed faintly with energy. The elf was placing most of her faith into the anthro, who looked quite competent in battle, with her staff, claws, and fangs. But she would fight if she needed to.

"My first human encounter," she whimpered, fear tightening an invisible noose around her airways. "He, tried to hurt me, but he got hurt instead." Her knees felt like wormy peaches as she tumbled to the ground. At least it gave her an opportunity to grope for her staff. She wearily pulled herself back to a standing possition, leaning heavily against its wood as she forced herself to look the Shade in the eyes.
The Shade laughed once again. "That's a clever nymph, painting yourself as a heroin! But we both know the truth, don't we?"

Aaron made a growl at the sudden appearance of the dusty figure. The growl was much like that of a reptile, but it contained a lot more power than a mere crocodile or alligator's. His teeth began to enlarge and grow sharp as razor knives. He wasn't going to morph just yet, he decided, in case the spirit left for some other reason (even though he highly doubted that).

The Shade unhinged his masked jaw to unleash another cackle, but a wooden spear butt slammed it shut again. "Enough! I see you've grown more annoying over the years!" Lyllii snapped, jabbing her spear deeper into the sand specter's "skin". Thanks guys, she thought, causually glancing over her shoulder once at the people who now supported her, supplying her with courage.
A crack formed along the Shade's cheekbone under the increasing pressure, giving way like newly formed sandstone, before disentigrating into a pile of dust heaped next to her boots' toes. A sigh of relief escaped from her chest. Light fingertaps drummed on her shoulder. "Not now, Kasha!" she grunted.
"Guess who!" shouted a voice in her ear; she whirled around to be confronted by a newly formed clone that stood inches from her face. "Do you really think I'd go away that easily? For shame!" he taunted.

Kasha quickly hit him with her lethal staff, hard. Her feline eyes sparked in excitement; she always loved the adrenaline that accompanied a fight, no matter how small. She stepped back, waiting for this one to dissolve into dust as well.
