Name: Saphrina (Or Saph as she's known amung her friends and Family)

Siblings: Added after the contest
Personality: Saphrina is innocent and pure, very old fationd, she believes in "Keeping her innocence" until a male can prove himself worthy of her. More often then not this causes others to see her as vain or consited but she is far from this. She has a tendency to try and see the goodness in all people, canine and human alike. Saph is often peaceful, and she has to be when she has friends/cousins like Bliss and Serena who often start little tiffts between eachother.
Likes: Her family, Asking questions, Running, Hanging with her great uncle Titanium & her cousin Bliss, Summertime, Starry Nights, Her aunts Ruby and Maggie and Hanging with her aunt Sadie and her family.
Dislikes: Seeing others upset, Being Cold and Wet, Rudeness, Violence
History: Saphrina was born into a rather large family so more often than not the pups would fight for the attention. Saphrina didn’t mind much as she would normally get pushed aside but she always made up for it by being fast and light on her feet.
Saphrina loved to run even when she first learned to walk, to her it made her feel free. She quickly learned that you don’t have to be large and muscular to run fast, that small dogs could be just as fast. And it was good that she discovered this because Saphrina was always getting herself into trouble or just into odd situations. She was more often than not being scolded by her mother.
When time came for her and her siblings to be adopted a middle aged man took a liking to the young female and wanted her for his mail team. This man just happened to own another dog, Saphrina’s great uncle, Titanium. As she got older she grew into a beautiful young lady. As time passes she develops a strong bond with Titanium and she decides to take it upon herself to help him with his “lady issues.” This leads into Titanium meeting another female and hitting it off with her just as his daughter Bliss returns to Nome… (You know the plot ZuZu xD)
How he/she feels about their parents: She loves both of her parents very much but when it comes to Jade, she is very much and a total daddy’s girl except for when he pays a little more attention to Clover. Same goes for her mother, she loves her just as much but with her father she tends to get away with more.
How he/she feels about Clover: Saphrina loves clover as if she was her own full sister. She somewhat looks up to her as a role model but deep down Saphrina rather dislikes when Jade dotes on her from time to time. She also thinks Clover shouldn't be quite so mad at Jason for what he did (tries to see good in everyone). She thinks that maybe he is very troubled and just couldn't control himself. She takes pity on him and thinks Clover should as well.
Other: Shortly after being adopted by Ti’s owner, Ti becomes mates with a girl and after her pups are born Saphrina assists in raising them. The pups know her as “Auntie Saph.” Also she mostly hangs out with Bliss and Serena, you normally never find one without the other. Also Saph has a rather "smaller" build than her siblings.

Personality: Ayla is very curious, and often a little nosy. Ayla likes having a good overview of everything around her. She tries to take part in everything that goes on around her. Ayla is very smart, and is very modest about her skills. Ayla is also very imaginative, and will occasionally spin a story for the puppies of Nome. Ayla is also very daring and loves to try new things. Ayla is often considered weird because of the amount of time she spends with her owner, listening to her read.

Likes: Sunny days, meadows, her family, learning, puppies, jewels

Dislikes: Thunder, bullies

History: Ayla was adopted at the age of 5 months by a journalist in her 30’s named Cara. Ayla missed her parents, but after being born into such a large family where lots of attention was hard to get, Ayla's new home was wonderful. Cara read many different stories to Ayla, but mostly murder mysteries. Ayla enjoyed this and spent much time with Cara. However, Ayla began to get bullied for her love of reading, but then Cara bought an older dog, Courtney, to keep Ayla company. Courtney became popular, and made sure no one bullied Ayla when she was near her.
The one exception was Castor. He was popular and the lead dog for one of the fastest sled teams in Nome. He bullied Ayla, but everyone still loved him. She grew increasingly angry till she couldn’t take it anymore and said to him ‘Don’t worry, you’re going to meet the fate you deserve soon!’. The next day, Castor was murdered, with deep gashes in his body and paw prints leading away from the body. A flower Ayla was seen picking lay by his body. All the dogs of Nome accused Ayla of being a murderer, except Courtney, Jade and Kit. After moping around at her house for a while, Courtney came to her and persuaded her to prove her innocence, just like her favourite fictional detectives. Ayla thought this was a great idea, and started straight away.
Later that night, all the dogs of Nome met in the boiler room. Courtney announced that Ayla was going to try to solve the murder. All the dogs laughed and jeered for a while, until Courtney urged Ayla to speak. Ayla announced that she already knew quite a bit about the murder. She gave her alibi and everything else that she could gather from the scene of the crime.

How he/she feels about their parents: Ayla adores her parents and she wishes she could see them more often, as with the rest of her family. When Jade comes back from mail runs he often tells her exciting things that happened. Ayla often goes to her mother for advice. Both her parents tell her about their own memories of childhood that parallel Ayla's own. Ayla is closer to her mother because she sees less of Jade (as he is on mail runs quite often) and Kit is the same gender as Ayla so she feels she can relate to her more.

How he/she feels about Clover: Clover used to play with Ayla a lot before she got adopted and they were quite close at that time. However Ayla doesn’t know Clover very well as Clover was busy caring for her puppy, but she’s glad she has a sister there if she needs her.

Fanfic teaser: I walked alongside Courtney, with my head burrowed into my chest in an attempt to appear invisible. Obviously that was failing because I could hear people hissing angrily at me. I know I shouldn’t have said what I said, especially to a popular person. But seriously, it wasn’t like it was going to affect them. I was the one who was going to have so many scars that you wouldn’t even be able to work out my markings.
A body. A scream. Castor. There he was, lying in the snow, in a pool of blood. He was covered in deep gashes. There were large footprints leading away from the body. A dandelion, like the one I’d tucked into my collar yesterday, lay by his body. Oh, no...
‘YOU!’ Screamed Castor’s girlfriend of the week, Tasha. ‘It was you who did it, I know it was!’ She was sobbing uncontrollably. Then she lunged at me. Courtney stood protectively in front of me. I would have felt sorry for her, if she didn’t just try to attack me. One of her friends dragged her a way, shooting me an evil look.
‘Bu - I didn’t – It wasn’t -‘ I began. Even Courtney gave me a look.
‘Don’t even try it,’ Someone I didn’t even know interrupted. ‘Don’t you remember what you said yesterday? And that’s your flower lying there. Well, what do you have to say for yourself?’
‘It wasn’t me,’ I said, as calmly as I could manage.


Other: I plan to draw her often
- Ayla adores her uncle Utah
-Ayla learnt to understand English through Cara reading her lots of stories
- She is very intelligent and knows lots of tricks e.g Sit, Jump, Beg, Play dead, Open the door
- She doesn't have male friends as she was affected by what happened to Clover. Kit later teaches her that not all males are good, but one out there is the right one for you, and you can have males as friends too
- She wants to be able to see colours
- Ayla loves telling stories
- Characters in the fic won'y be made unless I get this character

Updated her history and how she feels about Clover!!

Weee x3 Read the last bit I hadn't read from the fan fic. It's a truely amazing story c: Love it!


However, I've just been told by my Dad that we're going on holiday on the 13th of August D: So I will miss the winners x(

Awww, I always loved Jade and Kit, and Pearl is absolutely beautiful! I love Saphrine too, but I think there are too many entries for her... and Pearl need more attention!

Name: Pearl, but renamed at Madeline (Madie for short)

Gender: (given) female

Parents: Kit and Jade

Siblings: Added after the contest

Personality: when she was pup, she was cute, friendly and playful. She was a little shy, but she loved to play with everyone who she know. She was often playing with her siblings, she loved spending time with them. When her siblings and her parents weren't here, she often went for Clover and she was trying to be like her. She also loved to play with her uncle Utah. She hated to be alone- she had so big family, so she had always somebody around her. But when she was alone, she became sad and she was very bored.
But after the "accident" (below- in her history), she became very distrustful, depressed and scared of loud noises, fast moves and mans. She is often lost in her mind, trying to find her inside of herself. When she do something bad, she is often ready for punishment- she "leave her body"- she stop with moving, looking away and with fear in her eyes, but ready to be hurted. Around males she can be pretty agressive- if they try to be nice at her, she's just ignoring them. If they are annoying or bad at her, she often growl at them and then she run away. But when you get her trust, she can be protective of you, nice and close to you.
She's not very much smart, but she's not silly too. She's something neutral. Sometimes she know more, sometimes she don't know anything. It depends on the situation.

Likes: her parents, siblings, her half sister Clover and her uncle Utah, when she can play with her owner, running, silence, her new owner; later her pups and then Daeron

Dislikes: her last owner, mans, ones who are hurting others, punishments

History: She had beautiful childhood. She had a big family so she couldn't be proud or something like it- she had to fight for her parents' attention. But when her parents had no time for her, she was with Clover or Utah. She was spending many times with these two, she loved to play on the beach with them. SHe had many fun with her, she was realy cute and playful puppy.
She was adopted by an older man. She loved him very much, he was doing everything good for her. But one day he realized he had no money. He was very sad about it, but he had to- he sold Pearl when she was almost four months. Her new owner was a young man. She wanted to be friend with him, but he always hurt her. He was bad at her- he had her in the cage, he wasn't giving much food to her, when he was in bad mood, he was hurting her, when he was in good mod, he gave her a bone. When she did something what he didn't like he hurt her. She was permanently in stress, she was often crying in the nights. Sometimes she tried to escape, but she never reached it. Her owner waited until she was a year old and he wanted reach some moneys. So he asked some owners of male dogs, if they don't wanna have puppies. Some of them aggred. But Pearl was very young for pups, and she was afraid of everything, so her owner became mad at her and he hurt her very much this night and he said her that he'll give to her so many males, until she'll have pups. So some dogs, who her owner closed to a cage with her, raped her. She didn't get pregnant, becouse she was in bad condition. And becouse of bad food, live in not very clean cage and a permanently stress she became sick one day. Her owner became mad and he left her on the rope next to one road. Some humans found her and they took her to the shelter for animals. No one wanted this destroyed dog, so in the cold winter they put her into the cold cage, where was no heating. Pearl almost died here. But soon one woman arrived here. She saw Pearl and she took her to her home. Pearl was very distrustful and scared of her, but the woman was so nice at her and she saved Pearl's life. She later renamed her at the Madeline, but soon she started to call her Madie. Madie was in the bad condition when she gave birth three very little puppies- she became pregnant with last dog with who she was in cage. She was in the bad condition and realy very young, so she wasn't realy best mother- she didn't know how to care about pups. So her new owner was helping to her how much she could. They lost the littlest puppy, but they saved the others two. The women decided to give Madie's pups to her family, who lived far away from her home. When the pups grew up to age when they could left, Madie finaly started realy trust to her owner. She was very close to her. She wasn't thinking about her pups anymore. They were reminding her bad past.
One day she had to move with her owner near to her owner's family. How big surprise it was, when she met there her parents! They lived near to her family, her pups and far away from her bad memories... sometimes she met her pups. When she realized how nice doggies they are, she started like them more and more. One day she appologized and said them the true story about her past. Her pups understood and they felt sorry for her. From this time Madie started to love them and she was very happy, when she met them.
But she was distrustful to every male (without her family members)- not depends if it was human or dog. She was sure they wanna hurt her. But one day she met a dog named Daeron. From a beginning she was very distrustful to him, and she hated how much he was annoying. Many times she was growling at him and wanted to get him away of her. He had a plenty of patience and he was trying to be her friends every time when he met her. But when she later realized how nice and friendly he is, she started a little trust him. But she couldn't help herself to trust him completly, stil she was in alert and ready to ran away if he'll wanna hurt her. But some couples of days later she was almost crasched by a car. Daeron saved her life and from this moment Madie started to trust him completly. If the bad thoughts about Daeron came into her head, she just said: "If he'll wanna hurt me, it's my fault. But I think he's very nice dog and he'll never hurt me...". She started spending more of her time with him and they was often walking on the beach. One night, when they was sitting on the beach and looking at the moon above the sea, Madie said to Daeron about her past. He said her that he knew there is something wrong with her and about how he wanted to help her from the first time when he saw here. She thanked to him and they became very close. Daeron was also the only male (of course others could see her with her father, uncle Utah and if she sometimes met her male siblings too) with who others could see her...

How he/she feels about their parents: she love them very much. Her father is the biggest hero for her, and her mother is the prettiest female in her eyes. Of course they are sometimes arguing, but Pearl then often go and apologize to them and she's hoping they'll not mad at her. She think she has the best parents she ever could has!

How he/she feels about Clover: she absolutly adores her older sis. She love to hang with her and she wanna be like her! She took her absolutly like her real sibling, not just half sib. She is very close to her and she's trying to be with her everytime when she can.

Other: Maybe she and Daeron will end together, I'm not sure yet Madie/Pearl need more time to start trust to males!
I know, her story is realy sad, but I had this in my mind- it's based on life of my real dog, before the women, who saved her life, gave her to us. Yes, there are some added and changed things, but I wanted to do it little different ;D
